A friend of mine got his girlfriend pregnant.
The issue here is that after check up, the date of conceived by GP
happens to be 19 days after he is out of town for a period of 1 mth.
is it possible?

You mean after they fuck the guy went to overseas, after 19 days the girl told the guy she had his baby right ? I think it is possible.
Your friend know his gf from Pub / KTV ? otherwise he will not ask you to post question here :p maybe you can open a new thread to tell us some good stories :D:cool:

The guideline given by the GP is roughly only. Also, note that semen and sperm can surivive in the womb up to to 7 days. Correct me if I get the figure wrong.
Ever heard from a friend he had sex with his wife 6 day after Menstration and she got pregnant too.

I think your friend has been duped. Sperm can only survive for up to 7 days. 12 days extra is too extreme even with a margin of error for the GP's estimate.

On a related note, an Obstetrician's estimation of conception and delivery date is usually very accurate because the date of conception solely depends on the woman's ovulation(which is usually known without error). Any father who has had a baby knows this.

ya true but the problem arises when the woman herself have irregular periods..it is not uncommon for ladies these days to face that problem...

Irregular periods is not the issue. The sperm wont survive more than 7 days.
