She didnt wana go geylang motel, so we ended up in balestier fragrance motel which cost me $58 from 12am to 10am next day. Im not rally a hotel or motel person, so im not sure such rate is consider robert or acceptable. As its just a big bed with tv n a toilet. Very small. Wud like to find out tat is there any motel nearby boat quay area? N if i were to use the room for afew hrs, how r the charges like? Bros, mind if u share with me the info about the motels nearby boat quay area or if there isnt any the next nearest motel available? N the price for 2-3 hrs hows the charges like? thx.

There was recently a thread on this as well.
You can try the following:
Strand: $20 per 2 hours, $10 for each hour after that, or part thereof. But the front office staff is very rude. They even call the room after 3 hours to tell you the time is up, even though you are paying for the extension.
Fragrance Hotel at Joo Chiat: Same charges as Strand, but the staff much more friendly.
Harbour Ville at Kampong Bahru: $30 per 2 hours, $10 for each hour after that, or part thereof. 2 of the 3 front office staff very cute and always wear low cut loose T shirts...
I'd be trying some others soon. Targets include Hotel 1929, Hotel Gallery, Oxford and Summerview. Maybe Golden Landmark too, but ppl say the front office staff not friendly and are rude. Let you know.

I will recommend fragrance at joo chiat, quiet and clean. $20 for 2 hrs. My favourite actually. Geylang is too crowded and runs the risk of being spotted by people too.

What you paid is the normal rate.
I think boat Quay there has a robertson Quay hotel (May have chg name).
Other hotels around are at Bukit Pasoh... (2 or 3 there).

You probably can try Hotel Asia. Near Newton i think, but never been there before.
There are not many hotels in the west. i guess perhaps those in Chinatown are as far as you get. Anyone else have any suggestions?

Hi everyone,
I have personally tried this place in 40 Upper Weld Road, a pink building. It is a hotel called Boon Wah, and they do allow short time bookings at 20 per 2 hrs.
It is nice and my-ex PRC girl used to like this place, because it is not in Geylang or anywhere which implicates that she is hooker. She is a student here, with well off parents, but being bf & gf we need some place to go....(Anyway, for that post, I had my points deducted because it is in a wrong thread....long story)
I had posted some reports on this place before. Anyway, the recep is ok, the rooms are clean and if you stay overnight, there are some free toast and coffee free. I like it because a bit less crowded, not so notorious location. and not likely to bump into anyone u know or dont wantto meet.
For those bro who cheong dickson ktv, this is a good alternative too. It is on the next street and 5 min walk away. Book n bonk the whole night.
