Yes you can choose any username you want as long as it is not taken.

You cannot change an existing username. You have to register with a new email address.

If you want to use the same email address, let me know and I'll delete this account for you.

Your points will start at 25 and you can work your way up again. ;) You don't have that many points so it shouldn't take too long to match your current score.
