Really need some advice regarding the recent itch in the penis head. I had some good time when I visited Osaka recently, went for the so call soap land there without sex, had some lips to lips kisses with the working lady. She also performed capped bj, body to body nuru sliding and cat-bath. All done while both of us are naked. I also visited the famous tobita shinchi and had a capped bj followed by capped fj. After returning to Singapore, I start to feel itchiness on my penis head, not on the shaft. To be more exact, is the inner foreskin near the bottom of the penis head. The foreskin at the corona area and a little itch at the corona. Could this be due to any STD? Or could it be balanitis or similar issues not due to STD? Can you kindly advice me what might be the issue be? I wanted to go for test as well but it has not reach one month from the sex I had, so I am still waiting. What kind of test would you suggest me to take? Sorry for the lengthy background and question, thanks in advance.

I have just started using the cream for 3 days, the cream does help to stop the itch, though it is not totally remove yet, still a little itch when I washed the cream off during shower. Just like to check whether it is normal to feel a some pain on the foreskin? During last 3 days, when I shower and wash off the cream I will feel very small amount of itch and a slight pain on the foreskin, is that normal?

Good idea to see the doctor at a nearby clinic or wait online for an answer that only test result can tell?

Hi Hugs, thanks for advice, but as I am still waiting for the 1 month period from last exposure to reach, I was thinking to go for Doctor only next week for the test. Meanwhile, was trying to use the cream to treat the itch, which is successful in my opinion except for some pain which I am not sure whether it is common, hence the question. Hopefully someone can advice, else I will find out more only during my test and consultation with the Doctor. Thanks.

Apologies. Very busy recently.

OK so you got itching on the glans penis after a low risk encounter.

First of all, itching on the glans penis is not a typical symptom of any STD. So unless your symptomology changes, you really can rest assured that this is not a symptom of an STD. That is not to say you did not catch an STD.

If it becomes painful that is a problem and you should see a doctor.

More likely that not, this is a fungal infection or a skin reaction. You can try an OTC cream containing both an anti-fungal and a mild steroid. If it works, it should work within 3 days.

If it does not, see a doctor.

Hi Doctor, thank you very much for the response. I will monitor the itch and pain. I am currently applying canesten cream, is that alright? I suspect that the pain could be due to the masturbating I did the night before the pain occur. I felt much better yesterday when washing and applying the cream. For the STD test, what kind of test should I get tested?

That is actually very common. Not because you passed her a yeast infection.

But because semen changes the acidity level in side the vagina. So fungus that is normally found inside the vagina may overgrow.

Yeast is not an STD.

Vagina got fungus one

The vagina is a finely tuned machine.

A variety of organisms live in the vagina and when everything is in sync it keeps the PH within the vagina at 4.

When the balance is disrupted things start to go south and yeast infections and BV are a result.
