No you did not just have bad luck. I have just been in the same spot, tried two top priced SG FL in order to sample high quality and been disappointed exactly like you. I won't name their names due to courtesy for them. The first one was a $800 one, promised as the prettiest by the agent in their lineup. She turns out to be a 7 for face and a 6 for body. I am not saying that I got shortchanged. I think the SG FL market is there for the people who find it worthy, but I am definitely not one of them. The SG FLs have a great attitude. And its true they dont get booked 10 times a day but all they take is one booking for that day and they're set. As a member here said, they look for the SG FLs to talk about things they find in common and they enjoy it. Okay. I am not Singaporean so I dont look for that, I look for quality.

But the quality is definitely not the $600 to 800 charged by the OKT. One booking is all they need for a day or maybe three days. Okay lets see it as profit margins.

A Honda is made for $20,000 sold for $25,000, margin is $5,000 or 25%. Assume this is GL150.

A Mercedes is made for $60,000 sold for $75,000. Margin is $15,000 , triple the amount but still 25%. Assume this is a top category model at Macau sauna.

Some people can afford just the Honda, fewer can afford the Mercedes. But my point is the providers take the same profit margin. Customers are equally satistied, they get what they pay for.

SG FL is like a Honda but made locally, sold for a Mercedes price haha. Maybe there are fans who buy them. But the profit margin is very high because of COE (read : cost of girl's living and maintenance in SG, not China). So what their customers are paying for are the profit margins.
