They establish your credibility in the forum when it comes to exchanging info and providing feedback.

However like all things they can be misused and abused. Such is life. :p

That sectionis called private for a reason..
only afew privilege ones can access it, otherwise it wont be called private..
to access that section, you either need to contribute verified "photos" (www.sammyboy.com/legacyoff/originalpixrules.html) or sign up for premium membership (https://sammyboyforum.com.my/showthread.php?t=338343) which comes with a whole range of benefits.

as for the rep points, like sam mentioned it establish your credibility in the forum, you are unlikely to get any contact and lobangs with your low rep points..
