Can webmaster of a forum make your post or your username searchable and in fact push it to top ranking for search engine?

If you have a unique username it will rank number 1 on any search of that username.

Try doing a search for "sammyboyfor" and see for yourself.

Search engines can crawl messages but they cannot crawl the username table of the database.

If a username does not appear in a message it will never be indexed.

Webmasters improve rankings by designing great sites that attract lots of traffic.

If you have a site that languishes in the background it will never show up.

I think it also depends on keywords too? But quite strange.. some unique keywords doesnt make the website appear in google search while some does.

Sorry if you guys read this topic again...need some advice...

Can webmaster index usernames so that they can be searched online? Those not indexed wont be found...?

Can webmaster index usernames so that they can be searched online? Those not indexed wont be found...?

If the usernames appear in a message then when google crawls the website they will be picked up by the search engine spider.

However if the username is sitting in the username table of the database it will not be captured during the crawl.
