STD gonorrhea

Hi all,

Visited FL and had bbbj plus cfj. 1 wk later got discharge and went to see doc. Given jab and medicine plus urine test for gonorrhea and chlamydia. Got the results 3 days ago and shown pos for gonorrhea neg for chlamydia.

No longer have discharge and doc suggest to do another urine test in 3 weeks time again. I want to ask whether do i need to go for other std test and hiv test? I read from the sticky that the risk is pretty low for hiv since i have a cfj (condom intact all these after i pull out).

Nothing left to loose, Just take full STD check up including HIV test

why is HIV test more complicated? All stds have window period, not only HIV.

Also PrEP is for used for before a person is exposed to HIV risk, not after the act.


If wana ensure 100% clear of STD then go do test.

For HIV a bit complicated cuz got window period for testing then duno how long your last sex so duno PREP you can still go for it or not. Anyway that one need money more. If just waiting leh can do the 1 month? 3 month HIV test.

anyway which bacterial STDs can one self recovered from? can advise? thanks :confused:



We all know bacterial STDs is often curable. So TS could have self recovered if his immune system is good enough. Its a case of gonorrhea vs HIV. However, if TS kana HIV, he may never know till months or years later. :(
