When entering my particulars and doing safe entry I mentioned that she needs a.face mask, especially when working at the front desk. Had a experience that positive case came really close to our society neighbourhood. When get the case number, all my neighbours, relative, CO suddenly become CSI. Friend joining the fun via Numerous WhatsApp group. Dig all the news to find the linkage, make all possible guess for every single move. Dig the past and predict the future. Really faint.

The ML that was happily mask-less at the start of phase 3 has now reverted to mask-wearing, complaining to me that it is stuffy but no choice. She grumbled that whole of SG is not even up to the size of a mid-tier PRC city, but situation badly managed that until today, more than a year since covid, we still have to wear masks and do safe-distancing! :D Whereas in her home city, crowds can now pack holiday destinations and no need to wear a mask outdoors.

To the authorities, spa massage is considered "mask on" activity, so they see it as safer than, say, going to gym or dine-in (mask off activities) :D

So better keep your mask on. Enforcement will be ongoing and they might ratchet up the punishment to make an example out of the next few shops or customers caught.

So that's why to end this recent work week, I thought better to go back to my regular owo tuina shop. 乖乖 scan the QR so won't get faulted by roving SDAs and she only has a handful of customer a day in a quiet neighbourhood, can only serve one at a time, risk is as low as one can get. In fact, scanning the register book, I saw that I am only the 3rd customer of the day and it's already office knock-off time.

She's also completed vaccination. The only way to get "close contact" infection is if she herself kena, or her hubby regularly go ktv without her knowledge :D The most peace of mind one can get and enjoy the session.

I still go to my regular ML too but has cut down on the weekly frequency.
No massage place is totally safe IMO.
No matter how hygienic or careful your ML, despite her assuring you how obedient all her customers are (never chiong ktv n usually stay at home), there might still be a chance one of them is suddenly caught off guard and kena Covid somewhere, maybe an innocent market or hawker centre or even public transport.

So I guess all this is just like kena toto.
If one is really so scared to kena Covid then best option is to stay home. :)

Don't think SDA can go into rooms to check. So far, police are the ones to check spas for compliance.
Is track together login compulsory and liable for fines? I thought $300 is for not wearing mask...

Most places dont care. If they have the gateway they cant verify if customers registered. They can still pretend they heard the beep and so can the customer. They are damm eager to get cash flow because biz dropped a lot and government wont help as they are allowed to operate. Just look at the number of unlinked cases theses days, TT is not a proofed solution at all and this is a reason why the government sends so many under quarantine. Data totally unreliable. Garbage in garbage out.

Public transport is very safe in SG, no issues. Even in international flights there isn’t any evidence of infections. You sit quietly, aircon, with your mask, easy. However spend once a day as a delivery man, dishwasher staff, market seller or in the kitchen of McDonalds… it is basically not possible to wear your mask all the time especially if you are 60+, overweight and a smoker. Hence no surprise with the Jurong fishery cluster at all.

I tend to agree. Always loads of people coughing and sneezing all the time in close proximity on trains and buses. Sure we have masks on, but isn't it supposed to be combined with social distancing? If masks on alone can do it, there should never have been advice to socially distance.

1) Requirement to be tested negative 48 - 72 hours pre-departure to SG;
2) Method of testing is PCR and not ART;
3) Transit + flight time = anything from 1 to 24 hours depending from city of departure;
4) Arrive SG test again and walah...positive

So the potential point of exposure can be at the airport OR when you are cooped up in the plane. Being a regular traveller myself, I am always practising JIT and thus most of the exposure will be in the plane than in the transit hall. Then again, its my personal experience laaaa :D:cool:

The ones reaching SG positive have bought their certificates.. Everyday hundreds of people are not allowed to board their planes because of missing, outdated or non conform negative certificates. They will then buy a fake one outside the airport and check in at another counter. If you have been vaccinated in SG you will have received the A5 confirmation printed on the spot on a regular retail product without any security features. Very easy to falsify and cheaper than an official PCR test. And as you know there isn’t any global standard in certificates. There was a case of 40-50 infected people from India reaching HK a while ago. All had a negative certificates to present upon arrival..

Those tested negative before flight then positive upon arrival, mainly comes from India. If they can fake degree, they can fake anything.
