Rape and statutory rape

In Singapore, if you have sex with a girl under 14 years old, it is regarded as statutory rape under the Penal Code. Why is it called statutory rape? Under the Penal Code, only a man is capable of raping a woman. If guy does the asshole bandit on another unwilling chap, that is not defined as rape as far as the Penal Code is concerned. There is another charge for this.

Also, if a woman forces herself on a man, that is also not defined as rape. I don't think there are any provisions in the Penal Code that covers such a situation. Therefore, if that 500-pound monster living next door to you suddenly decides to make you her dildo, well too bad for you then.

This includes public mischief, nuisance, etc. I remember there were several people charged under this Act in the past when they decided to parade nude around their respective homes.

Silly law which should be repealed if you ask me. They should charge the guy who is looking into the neighbour's house.


Conclusion

When we buy cars, we need to bid for COE. That is, we need Certificate of Entitlement (COE) which would entitle us to buy a car.

Similarly if you want to have sex, we need to bid for SC (Sex Certificate). With this SC, it shows you have the right to have sex. You need to produce this Certificate at the hotel reception else you are not allowed to book a room.

You can get this SC from the black market. Some hotel staff sells it for extra income. But beware, because the SC has an expiry date. You must fuck within 7 days from the issuance date of the SC.

After my post on this topic, I checked the Penal Code again because I just recalled that there were some amendments made recently.

Section 375(1) of the Penal Code defines rape as a man penetrating the vagina of a woman (a) without her consent, or (b) with or without her consent when she is under the age of 14.

Therefore, it is not rape if a woman forces the man to penetrate her without his consent.

You are however correct in pointing out that under the new section 376, such an act is still an offence but defined as sexual assault by penetration.

Under the new amendments, the new Section 376A makes it an offence to sexually penetrate another person under the age of 16 (the minor) with or without the minor's consent. By that, it is an offence if you do the do with a person under 16 whether or not that person is a girl or boy.

The new amendments include new sections on commercial sex with persons under 18 making it an offence to engage the services of a man or woman below 18 for sexual services.
