at the rate VP is playing, he will be on the "must buy list" of many clubs in Europe.

good performance by Liverpool but what a sucker punch towards the end.

RVP is a good player, no doubt.

it's a shame to play well, but yet lose the game to an individual player's brilliance.

nevertheless, LFC till I die.

I don't blame Kenny for not making the subs (we were pressing for the win), but I blame the team for wastefulness, esp in the first half.

Comolli was hopefully diplomatic when talking about the summer. We need someone who can score goals. RVP has 25 goals, we have 30 total. Our finishing today was truly truly woeful.

LS was brilliant but he need to work on his finishing! The penalty was a total waste! As I said before, JC need to take a long rest now...just too slw for the modern BPL. I thought we plaed well, a draw would be a fair result! Credit to arsenal!

trying my best not to be negative but...

how does Adam get a game over Shelvey or Henderson (as a central midfielder)??

why can't Carra man up and just retire? Kenny spent good money on Coates, play the boy!

it's sad our midfield can only compete with Championship teams right now. Henderson and Spearing had a good game though.

What saddens me more is that Comolli thinks the club doesn't need much change in the summer. I am very worried for the future.

I am one who doesnt understand the negativity on Carroll.

He hasnt had the best starts but overall he has done well. People need to stop focusing on his price tag. It's not his fault the club overpaid. It's very hard for a young player to be consistent if he is being dropped so often and is brought on for the last 5 minutes to make a positive impact.

Then you see a player like Adam who does nothing to deserve a first 11 place. I would also be unmotivated to perform for this current Liverpool club if I was Andy.

Well...I thought Adam was ok but he needs to use his big head more as he is those 'hiong ' type not a tactical player like Gerrard and Enrique. Carrol is not about his price tag, it's his build that I don't think can fit into liverpool 's style of playing. He is not mobile at all...most of the successful strikers in L F Chistory are not that we'll build! Correct me if I'm wrong!

My view may be different from you tough.

Adams is anytime better than Hen or the worse Shelvey? Omg..that guy is the fluke of Liverpool...Worse that Salif Diao

As for AC, i rest my case ..maybe Sbf don't hold the same views as me..price tag aside, beside laying-off simple balls to team-mates and scoring against Lower division teams...he just dont suit the reds shirt at all..

I cannot say blame Kenny for this game but why did he use his 1st sub at 88min (forget about the 8mins extra time), if the current players cant score if you are going to win the game, then bring on a new batch of players to see whether things going to change anot..

This match is total dominance, but then again, the best teams don't always win..that's football..

We're going to Win the FA cup to spare the blushes

Did you see the post match interview? In the background on the side was RVP + Kuyt + Comolli chatting and laughing. By lip-reading them I think Comolli is asking RVP to consider LFC as a destination next season. :D

yeah Liverpool style of play in the past has always been the small man feeding off the bigger guy, successful partnership such as Keegan-Toshack, Owen-Heskey comes to mind. Unfortunately in this modern games, strikers whatever their size is also expected to double up as a goal scorer. But last night match, a few players has to take the blame, Kuyt for the penalty miss, Kelly for that miss right in front of the goal mouth, Suarez thou he is more unlucky then having to foot any blame. Adams a real disappointment, his form seems to have tapered off. Thou Downing and Henderson were ok last night. But we need players that are more in Suarez mold, the kind that takes on defenders and set the defence "karang kabut" each time they bring the ball in.
