Seriously speaking I think this season is all but over for us in the BPL. We can even forget about the 4th spot.

The next one to focus on is the FA Cup. If we can win that that would be great.

Next season we can focus on the Europa League and hopefully get some decent players coming in to replace ome of our current midfielders and strikers.

Would really be nice if we can get The Special One in as the new manager .

really think Liverpool had the players to go forward...these players must blend in and play week in week out...the players must believe in themselves and work hard...consistencies are key to success....shouldn't make too many changes anymore to the team...of course should get rid of dead woods...and rejunvenate...:)

Rafa for me. I like that he is a tactician. KD doesn't close shop after taking leads which has resulted in many drawn matches.

My gut feeling says Mourinho to Chelsea, then Rafa to Real Madrid.

If we were really to replace King in the near future, I would love Jurgen Klopp to be given a shot. Think he is working wonders at Dortmund now.

How can that be? Mourinho is leaving Real Madrid because he cannot handle the big egos of the players. Rafa definitely can't handle those egos as well. Look at how Rafa fared in Inter where big egos rule too.

Anyway, Kenny Dalglish is unlikely to be sacked now that he has delivered the League Cup although the owners did say the main goal this year is to qualify for the Champions League again.

Does it make sense to sell AC back to Newcastle at half-price and buy back Torres at half-price too? I feel Chelsea and Liverpool are better off if they didn't buy Torres and Carroll respectively. Suarez was bought to play with Torres after all.

Jose is too big of a coach to NOT to be recognised world-wide.

The number of people watch football in Asia far exceeds that of America+Europe and other parts of the world combined.
Therefore it means that the English lg is far more recognized and competitive as the timing of lives matches suits us.
Meaning to say for better lucrative compensation is the BPL and I'm sure he will be back for this reason soon.

Liverpool trend has never been hiring aggressive and offensive tactics mgrs..since souness days and thereafter till now...Kenny might not suit the long term..we shall see, I'm more interested in the players tough.

Need some Europeans class players instead of some kuching kurap BPL players like AC and SD. But not to qualify for CL gives our financial status no good and which good players would want to play for us.

Stop telling me history history history..our history has already overtaken by manure..gotta see what we can do forward.

As much as I'm disappointed, it doesn't take a few signings and one season to undone all the damages made over the years...

King Kenny is right that the team is making progress but we have to be patient...

Yes fourth spot is important but its not the end of the world if we fail to secure it...

The team still need time and Arsenal game shows that we can attack but we need to score goals as well... At least we know where the problem lies...

Give the guys some credit... We are indeed much better thesedays... :D

It's pure cow's sense to sack Kenny just because we could not get the CL spot! At least we see some attacking football under him! he has inherited a weak team and he is doing a good job by rebuilding them although I am not in favour of his few signings but hey...I am not expert either in managing a football club. I just wish he could play maxi and Kuryt more often.

Mourinho is King at Chelsea, just like how our players suddenly knew how to play football again once King Kenny took over from Uncle Roy, no issues there.

As far as Rafa goes, he has history at Real Madrid and they are his boyhood club, I am very sure it is his dream job and he will be extra determined to get it right. As far as egos go, Rafa is no stranger to big players, at Inter unfortunately he pissed off Moratti as well.

Kenny is here for a lot longer and I am prepared to be patient(what is another 3-5 years compared to 22 years of waiting?)
But I still question his team selection and the players he has signed. Hopefully they will all be good players in time.

wow less than 2 weeks after winning the Carling Cup, some people are calling for Kenny's head? Unbelievable.

More unbelievable that we should bring back Rafa or the Houllier style of 'closing shop' in winning positions. Have we forgotten our frustrations with Rafa and Houllier? Both are good people, and I respect their work, but we have moved beyond them.

Jamie C should gracefully hang up his boots and the club should bestow on him all the medals + memorial matches & etc.. He's been a great servant to Pool for the longest time. If he doesnt do that now and with matches coming up, if he blunders stupidly again , this time the media and and even us fans from all over the world will be raging & angry to say the least.

Carrol, for the life of me, I cant understand why Kenny protects him like a baby. When it matters most, he plays rugby instead of football in the goal mouth. Maybe he should just cut his locks and go bald to seek some divine intervention. For god's sake , he cant even score at Orchard Towers.

Mind you, 35 million pound striker just doesnt satisfy the mark. We miss you Peter Crouch.haha

Henderson , good grief .. i dont understand whats all the hype about. He aint cut out to be a Pool player, no flair at all. Downing too, blowing hot or cold during matches , never consistant.

Lucas made amends for sure. During his first season, Pool fans were hunting down for his head, Now we see how much we fans value him for sure.

Craig B, well if Carrol needs an inspiration and isn't blind, just look at this ever shining player. Amicable salary negiotated between Kenny & him prior to the season. No hype up publicity, excellent physical condition & always fighting for his team. Like the way he goes after his opponent when he feels he's been tackled unfairly. He just cheers many people up, dont you think?

Carling cup win good. Not for punters who wanted a straight win or die hard pool fans. Cardiff, well now i am a fan of theirs. Never gave up something Pool could learn from. We all saw the tenacity in the Cardif squad, packing in the goal mouth, standing and jumping during corner kicks, sometimes the ball was not in sight when the players jumped. It just shows global fans that a team way , way below Pool could do so much.

The truth is ..man city or man u is way up there. This season, i reckon is just putting all the jig saw puzzle in the liverpool team & i'll be the first to admit that we need to win all domestic cups. Kenny has to instill that belief to us all liverpool fans all around the world and not just in the U,K.

Maybe its about time we need to be more aggressive and assertive on the pitch. Have you ever heard , the best defense is always being on the offensive ? :p

Now the very rich has publicly say he wants LS.

I'm sure this will moved him somehow.
Who cares about titles and history nowadays where this team can offer 2-3 times his current salary.

With everything going against him here at Anfield, I'm sure he's going to have a long thought.

agreed............lets give KD at least another season before we pass judgement on his management style & the players he signed..........he has definately improved liverpool but this season its the home form that is killing our quest for CL qualifcation...........hopefully next season the new players would hv gel & if we can get one marquee signing this summer, we might pose a stronger challenge on the BPL next season..............YNWA
