Man City 1 - 2 Tottenham : Bent stars amid red cards galore

Harry Redknapp has lifted Tottenham and Darren Bent in particular - and they made it five matches unbeaten under his stewardship with a 2-1 victory at Manchester City on Sunday.

Spurs moved off the bottom of the Premier League in the process, thanks to two goals from a revitalised Bent in a fixture which City finished with nine men - by which time Tottenham themselves were one down too.

Bent built on his midweek hat-trick against Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Cup to help his side record their first away win in the league this season.

City were left cursing their luck, having taken the lead through Robinho. They lost the advantage, after having Gelson Fernandes sent off 10 minutes later for two yellow cards.

Then captain Richard Dunne was also dismissed by referee Mike Dean, as was Tottenham's Benoit Assou-Ekotto.

Tottenham 4 - 2 Liverpool : Holders destroy Liverpool's second string

Harry Redknapp's magic touch continued with a 4-2 victory over Liverpool at White Hart Lane to secure Tottenham a place in the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup.

As if to illustrate the manager's impact since taking charge 18 days ago, it was two players on the fringes during Redknapp's revolution who turned the tie with three goals in six minutes just before the break against Rafael Benitez's reserves.

Roman Pavlyuchenko, who netted the late winner when Liverpool were beaten by Spurs in the Premier League, opened the scoring with a crisp finish before Fraizer Campbell added his first two for the club since his loan from Manchester United.

Damien Plessis and Sami Hyypia pulled goals back between Pavlyuchenko's second, stirring memories of their second-half Istanbul comeback in the 2005 Champions League final - but Spurs held on to stay in the competition they won in February under Juande Ramos.

It is now five wins and a draw since the new manager was appointed.

Fulham 2 - 1 Tottenham : Gomes produces another howler

Fulham proved Harry Redknapp is not super human after all as Tottenham slumped to their first defeat under his managerial tenure with a 2-1 defeat at Craven Cottage.
It was Tottenham's first loss in seven matches since Redknapp breezed into White Hart Lane after the sacking of Juande Ramos last month.
But his magic finally ran out as a first-half blunder from Spurs goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes and a clinical 69th-minute finish from Andrew Johnson earned Fulham their second consecutive league victory despite a late consolation effort from Fraizer Campbell.

-> Juz how long can Redknapp go on "sticking with GOMES's blunders match after match"....Probably this will also shake up the morale of the other SPURS players....We juz need to score more goals than our opponents in case GOMES let in any goals ! How can COMOLLI declared that he have done a good job when our No.2 Goalie CESAR is 37 yrs old !...That the situation tougher now to look for a replacement midway in the season ! It may be another similar sitaution where's there communication problems liked RAMOS with the players & GOMES with his defenders !...Anyway we juz have to endure this & pray for the best for our future games !

-> Thank God for our Carling Cup draw that we may have a better chance against WATFORD then MAN U or ARSENAL !!!

Hey SPURS Bros,

What's your prediction of our home game Vs Blackburn ?
We definitely wants to make up for our last week defeat to Fulham last week.

Will be really great if GOMES will take a rest & let Alnwick or Cesar have a chance. If U watch the Fulham game the body language of GOMES was too stressful to watch !....We can't risk playing him anymore !

This weekend,i will go for : SPURS - 2 vs Blackburn - 1

Come On U SPURS !!!

++++++++++++++ SPURS - 1 vs BLACKBURN - 0 +++++++++++++++++++

It was a narrow win with several players liked HUDDS,BENT,JENAS playing below par ! LENNON played really well & managed to get their player sent off but we failed to take advantage of this by scoring more goals ! Maybe too much respect to ROBBO !....We were damn lucky to escaped a few of their attacks ! Honestly i really get stressed watching GOMES playing ! But thank god he managed to keep a clean sheet ! Anyway we are moved up a bit the table !!!

Come On U SPURS !!!

Tottenham 1 - 0 Blackburn : Spurs climb out of drop zone

Roman Pavlyuchenko's winner at White Hart Lane lifted Tottenham out of the Barclays Premier League relegation zone and plunged 10-man Blackburn deeper into trouble after a 1-0 win.

Martin Olsson was guilty of an error in the build-up to Pavlyuchenko's sixth of the season, and the Rovers full-back's wretched afternoon was finished off within 39 minutes when he was dismissed for two bookings.

NEC Nijmegen 0 - 1 Tottenham : Spur's resurgence under Redknapp continues

Tottenham took a huge stride towards the knockout stages of the UEFA Cup following a 1-0 victory over NEC Nijmegen courtesy of Jamie O'Hara's early strike.

O'Hara's goal at Stadion De Goffert gives Harry Redknapp's side six points from three games, which should be enough to get Spurs out of Group D ahead of their final match against Spartak Moscow.

Tottenham 0 - 1 Everton : Moyes marks milestone with a win

David Moyes marked his 300th game as Everton boss with a Premier League victory over Tottenham courtesy of Steven Pienaar's deflected winner.

Pienaar caused a delay at the start of the second half as he was wearing the wrong shirt - then six minutes after the restart he found the back of the net when his shot cannoned in off Vedran Corluka.

It was Everton's third win in a row at White Hart Lane and also meant a first home defeat for Spurs boss Harry Redknapp.

Happy that SPURS is thru' to the semi finals !!! And happy that BENT managed to find his scoring touch again to hit the winner !!!...It would have a lousey feeling going out of the Carling Cup by losing to Watford after losing to Everton last sunday !.....That was a bad game losing thru' that odd goal thru' poor defending !!!....

It will be exciting weeks ahead with so many games - League,Carling,FA & Uefa Cup !!!
