++++++++++ SPURS 3 vs WIGAN 1 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

It was certainly tight first half with most SPURS attacks especially crosses by BENTLY ended with nothing ! Could feel the pressure from recent goalless draw & loss....And probably it was a good team line up by HARRY as i much prefer BALE & O'HARA on the left & unfortunately BENT had to be subbed thru' injuries ! But it was "super sub" CAMPBELL that got us the penalty & PAVLYUCHENKO who coverted that started our win !!! With MODRIC scoring the next & PAVLYUCENKO scoring the winner ! WIGAN managed to get a consolation goal back !

We were fortunate to be playing at home with strong home support HARRY really couldn't afford to lose & have a replay at JJB stadium ! Thank god we won !!!...And we really need to beef up our defence as we were quite shaky to let it that goal ! Of course GOMES is playing much better now so that a plus point for us !....So now for the CARLING CUP Semi Finals !!!

=> When i saw the draw vs Man U,i also felt the same way liked U,BRO !...And read that FERGIE wants revenge against HARRY for knocking MAN U out when he was with POMPEY ! So hopefully HARRY can do the same with SPURS !!!....

=> So much news that both DEFOE & DOWNING joining SPURS,do U guys think it'll happened ? Actually we probably have not much choice at this stage to target other "wish list" players ! We are really desperate for players that really wants to play for SPURS !!!

=> Tomorrow's Semi's vs BURNLEY will be important for SPURS to win !!!

yingyang master, i think the unfortunate party is spurs. i was hoping spurs can play derby or kettering... :D
i really wish spurs can overcome all odds and win the FA or UEFA cup, not for the glory but to restore some prestige to the club. spurs is losing out in getting good star players' signature. riquelme, van der vart... all dont want to join spurs lah, spurs is not big enough these days.

good news 1: defoe and downing for spurs! my baby defoe is coming back, i can... not... believe it! as for downing, i am hoping gareth bale can start to play attacking left wing instead of left back, he's very creative and is a great dribbler. he played left back during the wigan game. anyway downing's transfer request was turned down by boro so the chance is slim lah.

good news 2: i said i wanted him during the world cup in 2006, i quarrelled with levy and jol and ramos when they vetoed my proposal but now it is finally happening. i give you... stephen appiah!

Ghana midfielder Stephen Appiah is in the frame to become Harry Redknapp's first signing of the transfer window, after training with Tottenham.

Appiah, who has been a free agent since the summer following a dispute with Turkish side Fenerbahce, looks set to be offered a deal until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old has suffered knee injuries in the past, but Redknapp is confident that will not be a problem and is hoping to arrange a deal.

''I watched him an awful lot for Ghana - about six times - but I ended up taking Sulley Muntari because Juventus were asking £14million for Appiah,'' said Redknapp. ''Appiah was the captain of Ghana. He played in midfield with (Michael) Essien and Muntari - that was their midfield.

Got a soft spot for spurs, after all cockerels were FA cup specialists in glory days gone by. Harry was a godsend after Ramos debacle. No loss, as Real's forever looking for manager (and do I hear little bird whisper another hotshot is being primed?:p).

Share sentiments on long suffering by spurs fans. Got a London colleague, a die hard spurs fan..who told me that he got fed up hiding away on monday mornings in office (with all the ribbing)

**************** SPURS 4 vs BURNLEY 1 ***********************

After a shocking goal by BURNLEY with both BALE & especially BENTLY ( later was replaced by O'HARA ) in the 1st Half,HARRY must have given the lads a inspiring talk ! And SPURS came back with early equaliser for my Man of the Match - DAWSON - strong header to the corner,then O'HARA ( who should always be ahead of BENTLY to start the match ! )....then PAYLYUCHENKO stunning turn & scored another great goal !!! Then finally many thanks to BURNLEY's OG by DUFF that made a strong recovery by SPURS !

Actually to be fair BURNLEY was very organised & their passing was very good at the start but probably lack the experience to really last the pace of the exciting match at WHL ! With the scoreline,we should be quite comfortable to be in the finals to meet the Red Devils !!!

It was frustrating watching HARRY using all thw wrong tactics for this game !

- LENNON should have been playing from the start to provide both DEFOE & PAVLYUCHENKO the goal scoring chances...

- KING was playing in midfield & struggling there because he's not really match fit & was too slow to move the ball forward !....

- GOMES should have been taken out since he was injured ! Will be keen to know HARRY's answer for this !!!....

- BALE played badly & can't defend at all so WIGAN kept attacking our weakness & O'HARA should have made stronger efforts to cover BALE !.....We badly need a left back !!!....

- SPURS still have defending problems from corners & also focusing on the game during the last minutes ! Had this strong feeling that SPURS was lose especially when WIGAN kept on the pressure !!!...

Today's result will make SPURS to be deeper in the relegation & bottom of the league !....So how can HARRY attract any good players when we are at this low position !!!....

Can't blame SPURS fan here from being inactive here since our SPURS team currently is juz "frustrating to watch especially playing away & many players are juz not playing well !!!"....

Probably some of the regular players are really burnt out from playing too many games in all Cup competitions & league games ! HARRY should really give some of the other players that been on the bench or reserves a chance to play !!!...

We hardly scored from corners or free kicks & we supposed to have some free kick specialist liked BENTLEY & BALE !...

It'll be interesting to see who HARRY will finally sell & buy this month !!!...

We can't afford to keep losing any more league games or we definitely will be relegated !!!

SPURS is certainly having tough times this season !!!

HARRY having a hard time with current players & also a hard time buying the players he want !!!

WIGAN - PALACIOS - what's so good about him ? He wasn't that impressive in the game against us recently ?

INTER MILAN - ADRIANO - do we really need to buy him ? Again he may need some time to adjust to the pace & set up in BPL ! We really dun have too much time left !

CURRENT PLAYERS - have they lost confidence in HARRY already ? My gut feel is that they are really "burnt out from too many games"...so can't HARRY start playing the reserves or younger players that he rave about liked BOSTOCK ?

It's definitely will be a struggle this season as "HARRY & his management team juz lack the cutting edge tactics to organise the best team every game !!!"....

Sorry SPURS BROs,i really dun mean to be pessimistic or over critical,juz needed to "let it out !!!"....
