If only the team had played similarly during the whole season...... hopefully they can carry this form into the 2012/2013 season. :p |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Great news if its true..
He's really behind time in terms of man-management and tactics. Do some paperwork up the ladder may suit him more than day-to-day training. As for top class coaches mentioned above..w/o CL who would consider coming? Don't tell me history history again  Gotta start re-building again then we think how to overhaul the top 5..as we don't belong anymore at least these few seasons.. |

Cannot imagine if Chelsea is out of CL next year... They will lose a lot of money |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
The Chelsea back line was error prone last night because Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez gave them too much to handle. Suarez with his tricky plays and clever movements while Andy Carroll was brilliant in winning headers, and drew many fouls especially from Terry and Ivanovic. Not to mention, he also assisted Agger in his goal :)
This IS the Andy Carroll we've been dying to see and I reckon he can improve even further. |

Hmm.. Kinda mix feeling... KD is afterall a legend but it will also open the door for a more suitable manager... Rafa anyone?? :D |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
having a new manager may not be a good thing. reason being each manager have their own preferred players. just when the current squad is getting used to KD/everyone's playing style, an incoming new manager will introduce new/preferred players and leave out some current players (just like KD not playing Maxi and Kuyt in his 1st team).
are we ready for another "transitional" season??? |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
The last game this weekend for Merseyside bragging rights .....
We can still overtake Everton if the results go our way: LOSE - confirm gone case DRAW - provided Everton lose WIN - provided Everton lose or draw Fixtures not in our favour with Everton playing at home to Newcastle while we have a tough away game at Swansea. We need no favours from Swansea to field an understrength squad (now that they have nothing to fight for) ... we'll show them we can beat them on our strengths and qualities! Everton may be hard to beat at home, but with Newcastle chasing for the coveted 3rd spot, don't write off an upset from the magpies! 7th spot may be SXXX to finish off the season but it'll be a 'mini achievement' if we could juz finish off above the Toffees! Come on REDS, give us your last hurrah!!! |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Now even the weaker team has no fear of the pool. Sick and tired of the excuses. wood work, referees bla...bla..bla. Why can't we bite the bullets and admit that we are just not good this season? Eat the humble pie la....don't know what's Ian rush 's thought on the finishing this season?
