According to the reporter of Shin Min Daily News (Sg), the Batam investigator tol the report that 2 men were seen from the hotel's CCTV entering the victim's room from 10:45pm till 6am next morning - 1 man in white shirt and 1 man in black shirt, the victim was stabbed 24 times.

No mention of any girl leh

Tai chi is at good way hotel. Use to have 2 entrance. Ever since they renovated, the shift inwards more, next to the ticketing office. You see the cafe downstairs? Near that place.

Bali spring is at Putri Gardens hotel, in Nagoya. Infront of Nagoya hill condo which is coming up.

Hmm.. That is what local news say here, he check in with a gal. Not too sure about the details. But wat I suspect is that the gal open the door for the guys. If not how they get in? Remember he is a business man who has been to batam many times. Felt sorry for the family.

But just a word of advice, be more careful here. Times are bad, thieves are looking for $$$, so are the police.

Any news from Bintan? Seems like most ppl shifted to Balai nowdays. Sianz 1/2 cause i planning to cheong Bintan next week. Never been to Balai b4 while Batam getting boring d. Think want to try Balai also but scared cause bever been there...... any broz cheonging next week?

Yo Bro, u just missed our monthly pilgramage to Tj Balai last week. We went on the 13-16th April. Total of 7 brothers were there. We had a good time.

So sorry i couldnt really catch up with ya during my last trip there. We had 7 bros there so i was really hands full organizing activities for everyone. But i was glad to meet up with ya on Saturday morning at the Ayr Tejun. On Saturday night we also met up with you at Bravo, but due to lots of drinking and other stuff (hehe) didnt quite get the chance to talk to ya.

Lets hope to meet up again in Balai on our next trip. I might be trying to stay at Maximillion this time just to see how good the new hotel is :)

Hi there, I'm planning a trip with my friends to the sunny island of Batam come May, where every Singaporean will be a little richer :)

Anyway, it has been awhile since our last trip (about 6 months?) and this time, our main translator will not be around due to the fact that he is working overseas.

So I would like to know if any of you have contacts in regards to drivers, who can speak english preferably, or chinese. And if so, could I bother you to pass the driver's contact to me?

Also, I would like to know the extent of the situation in Batam now. I heard that the police is clamping down on prostitution, and from what I gather after reading back this thread, it is on all general vice activities.

Will we still have a decent choice of selection when it comes to girls? Are there any additional precautions we have to take? Like preparing a trenchcoat for the girls? :o

Our usual plan is like this. Meet up at Harborfront at around 10, reach Batam at around 1 or so, get into a hotel, and then go out hunting.

Since we all have a little more money to spend then usual, are there any recommandations for good hotels? Or even resorts if they have em at Batam (I remember there was one, but it closed down...Rasa Shinta or something like that)

Our last trip we went to Sentosa, which was...mediocre... other then the fact that it was beside this shop which had a monkey as a pet, that was amusing for awhile, while waiting for the driver.

Also, where would be a good place to look first when it comes to girls?

Reason why I ask is because the last trip I went, there was this girl who was so crazy about drugs that she started showing very bad attitude when I didn't give her money for her Ice or whatever. I did at first, then she left for like 5 hours to come back and say it wasn't enough. So my trip there was almost totally wasted. I know one brother has her picture. I don't want to pay 1 jinta for a girl, but I don't mind paying a little more then the usual price.

Oh and as the last resort, is Planet still one of the best places to go to find for a FL?
