Have the passion and desire to fight for every ball and to win the game. Most importantly to be proud of wearing a Liverpool T shirt.

it is not going to be worst than last season.
i see nothing wrong with current squad. :D

2. Which players should be brought in to strengthen that area? (must be realistic, of course I would also want Lionel Messi to play for Liverpool!)

3. Which existing Liverpool players are deemed surplus to requirements and should be sold?

(Taking into account Brendan Rodgers' preference for passing football and likely 4-3-3 formation as we all witnessed during Liverpool's pre-season friendlies so far)

1. I would say forwards, we have some talented midfielders who haven't been lucky with form or management. Also we have been linked with pretty good midfielders who would definitely improve the team.

2. As above, 2 midfielders who I think will improve the team. Allen and Gaston Ramirez. As for forwards, if price is an issue, If someone cheap and in terms of availability then Demba Ba. I think someone like Guiseppe Rossi could do well in a Rodgers team as well.
Would also like to see a left full back signed to give Enrique some competition. Enrique got too complacent towards the end of the season and was piss poor.
Would like to see Santon signed, did well on loan at Newcastle and is still young.

3. Surplus : Adam and Spearing.

Not entirely true.... the player can refuse to move if he is not agreeable to the personal terms. :)

Any news on Lucas? Still not back from injury?

Lucas is back and he featured in all 3 friendly games.... this guy must have some kind of gongtao to make BR like him so much. He has become BR blue-eyed boy in the short time he rejoined the Liverpool squad.

Personally, I feel that

Wide areas needs to be strengthened and a creative midfielder is needed. A left sided central midfielder should also be signed to give balance to the team if Charlie Adam is sold.

Downing has been unconvincing, not sure if Bellamy is still as reliable on the wings. Anyone watched him play for Team GB in the Olympics so far? He was asked to play on the right wing and his displays were quite erratic. Joe Cole should be able to play on the right as he did in the pre-season friendlies so far.

Nicolás Gaitán, he was mentioned in the news recently. I quite like him and watched him a few times when he signed for Benfica a couple of years ago. He reminds me of Maxi Rodríguez. Similarly, he is quite versatile and can play left, right or centre. Comfortable with both feet, I feel that he will excel in a 4-3-3 formation. He is young and able to score goals too. Probably the stumbling block would be the transfer fee and wages.

Spearing should be loaned out, don't think he is/will become a quality first team player. Fringe player at most, hope he will prove me wrong just like what Lucas did. He is neither a holding nor attacking midfielder. Can't seem to pass the ball well either.

Very tempted to categorise Henderson and Charlie Adam as surplus to requirements too, however Henderson was played at right wing for majority of last season, if not all, and Charlie Adam was injured towards the end of last season.

Well, I heard rumours that you'll be going back to your boyhood club Cardiff.

Any truth in that? :o

I have to speak to BR first..... we have not met up yet just spoken a few words over the phone.... whether I stay or leave would depends on what role BR has in mind for me.

Henderson was really good recently against Sperms when he played in the middle. Like the boy a lot hope he succeeds.

As for Gaitan, with Manure chasing him too, it's an easy choice to reject Liverpool these days..sigh...

Ahead of Friday morning's Europa League 1st leg 3rd round qualifying match against FC Gomel in Belarus, there were some confirmed team news.

Andy Carroll has withdrawn from the squad due to a "slight groin strain".

Suarez and Bellamy are also unavailable for selection as they are on Olympic duties.

This could mean that Adam Morgan might feature in the match at some point, with Borini likely to start the match.

Somehow I don't feel proud..... it's not like as though a genuine Singaporean won it. We hired a PRC mercenary to win that medal.

We must always remember that Singapore is a business city never in the category of sports after the era of fandi and Ang peng siong :D

Anyway without FT ...I'm sure the customer service or level of cleanliness will prolly be worse than India or...I still remain neutral in this aspect
