According to Hindu astrology, Rahu, also known as the north node of the moon, will cross into a new zodiac sign on Saturday, ushering in a time of potential bad luck for some and good luck for others. Thousands of people in Thailand, where Buddhism is the national religion but ancient Hindu beliefs still have a strong popular pull, were snapping up black food items on Friday to present as offering to statues of Rahu at various Buddhist temples.

Rahu, depicted as a huge black giant, can only be placated with black offerings, according to local lore.
Offerings offered are black chicken, black coffee, cans of Pepsi or Coke, black sesame seeds, black sticky rice, wine in black bottles, black beer, “chao kuay” (a type of of black jelly) and others.

Hi bros,

i got a amulet since young for abt 10+ yrs liao.. but the plastic cover has turn abit yellowish and there's some green fungus growing inside... does tat mean anything? and wat shld i do with it ah? pls advise..:)
