Every new signing is excited for me as it means new faces coming to give the old guards a fresh new challenge

Whether it is a well known player or not is less important as don't forget when Hypia joined us many years back nobody heard about him and some do question about manager decision but it turn out to be a very big bargain n he himself became one of the greatest legend in recent years

We are no longer the team we are in the 70 n 80 as money play a very part of the success in modern football instead we should be down to earth as Roma doesnt built over night

Cheers Liverpool !!!

That goes for Alonso, aberloa, skrtl, agger, lucas and so on,we don t have the cash to fight them with ready made players,so we have to start from sum where,in every new signing is a gamble, bpl is not easy they need to adapt quickly.sum times u need to take a step back to go forward.

Is it something to do with our Scout or our manager/owner's vision? Imagine if RVP came to Pool instead of AC, and maybe the combined costs of Downing, Adam & Henderson to buy a Nasri or Modric. Ok I know Im dreaming. :D

Ha ha ha u r lol, those guys won t come, they left cos they wanna win sumtin, city have been veri smart with their purchases and they still talk of adding more players, its not all abt getting top players,if we can molud a well organised and compact team Im sure we will give the top teams a run for their money.

Yup, I'm hearing that Ga$ton Ramirez is on the verge of signing for Southampton. Apparently, he was offered more money by Southampton

I think it was a good piece of business for Arsenal!

£24 million for a 29 years old player, with only 1 year left on his contract, who is injury prone as well! To be honest, Van Persie only had 1 very good season, which was last season where he was made club captain.

At Arsenal, he is always the first choice striker after the likes of Henry and Adebayor left. Besides, the likes of Chamakh (11 league appearances last season), Bendtner (loaned out to Sunderland), Park Chu-Young (only 1 league appearance so far!) and Gervinho (usually play as a winger) don't represent much competition if you compare to that of Rooney, Berbatov, Chicharito and Welbeck.

He was given the assurance of regular 1st team playing time. If he goes to Liverpool most probably he will spend more time on the bench than on the pitch. If he comes to West Ham he will be the 1st name down on the team sheet but we dun have the money to pay him.... :p

New team? 80% of the team were from last season. And it is not really a new playing style as our game has always been based on passing...... BR has just refined and made adjustments that's all...... and Liverpool will be a force to reckon with this season despite the naysayers out there coz King Kenny had already laid the groundwork for BR to follow up.

I predict Liverpool will be in the Top 4 this season. :p

Team news vs West Brom:

Reina, Johnson, Kelly, Agger, Skrtel, Lucas, Allen, Gerrard, Downing, Borini, Suarez.

Subs: Jones, Adam, Henderson, Shelvey, Carroll, Carragher, Cole.

Jose Enrique is not in the team, I assume it's because he's not match fit yet.

New signing Oussama Assaidi is also not involved tonight.

This means that Johnson will play at left back.

Joe Allen makes his Liverpool debut beside Lucas and Gerrard.
