Agree to a certain extent but...the money from the euro lg is good too tough not as much as the CL.

Also good players will want to come if we are in the euro cup rather than just playing in England cups..not to mention keep our current top players.

THAT'S why concentrate on BPL and get a top four finish...then things will be improved...:)

Look at Arsenal...what type of players they have...still can make it to Champions League...why not Liverpool with the youngster playing like they are...the real test will be this weekend versus Arsenal...then coming up Man U and Chelsea...if Liverpool gets results from these games then top 4 finish is a good chance...:)

I predict Arsenal may struggle this season...Spurs may also struggle...so Liverpool may have a good finish...judging from the way pool played last week against Man City...if remain consistent sure has good position...:)

That goes to show just how terok the current Liverpool squad is that he has to bring in players from Swansea to improve the quality.

If they can maintain their consistency they may even end up as BPL Champions! :p

Consistency is the key point.

Can't keep getting points against "top" clubs but dropped against "lower" clubs.

Mindset must change and this is dependent on the Manager's method and influence...if players' fail..it is always the management's problem...i never agree that once the players' in on the pitch, everything is up to fate. That is the importance of Manager and what this position is there for a reason be it a win or predictable loss.
The influence always starts from the top down..

Agreed !!

The past manager are too nice so the players feel their position are in secure

BR looks more strict n heartless so it is a plus point to me

From the looks of it, Charlie Adam and Jay Spearing are the ones who are likely to leave Liverpool before the window close.

soccernet reported that Stoke are ready to offer £4 million.

Stoke move for Liverpool's Adam

Jay Spearing is subjected to a loan move to Bolton, though I've not seen any really credible source reporting it.

I'm hearing that Jay Spearing has agreed to join Bolton on loan, possibly for the whole of next season.

Still waiting for confirmed reports on this..

saw the news on Adam. 4m seems like an insult but may be better for him to go or at least go on loan, considering now he's one of the last few in the pecking order in midfield.

Liverpool vs Hearts (2nd leg, Liverpool lead 1-0 on aggregate)

Confirmed team: Reina, Kelly, Carragher, Skrtel, Downing, Allen, Henderson, Gerrard, Shelvey, Suarez, Morgan.

Subs: Jones, Johnson, Enrique, Agger, Coates, Borini, Sterling.

Charlie Adam, Jay Spearing and Andy Carroll are not even not on the bench.. are they on the way out of Liverpool or already out?

Liverpool have signed young striker Samed Yesil from Bayer Leverkusen.

Reds complete youth striker

Transfer news update:

1. Andy Carroll to join West Ham on loan with an option to sign him permanently if West Ham stays up

2. Jay Spearing to sign for Bolton on loan

3. Liverpool have received 2 bids for Charlie Adam from Stoke and a club in Turkey

4. Liverpool still heavily linked with Dempsey, Sturridge, Walcott and Huntelaar.

Coincidentally, all 3 players will not be involved against Hearts tonight.

All 3 deals are yet to be confirmed officially.
