Price hikes in all sorts of services and clubbing after Covid ended, while cheaper than Singapore, it's value for money has dropped significantly.

Yes the most ridiculous is people buy extra drinks spoil market 30 -400 drinks and lady go up stage ring bell. Throw away free money. Like Sg Thai disco hang flower

What happened is I believe the post covid revenge travel will taper out in a few years when the spending power wanes off.
That doesn't mean the market spoilers will disappear overnight.
Hence WLs will better manage their expectations.

As the world is less and less cohesive with China, Thailand remains the only safe harbour for Tiongs.
They know Tiongs are contributing a substantial portion of tourist dollars and they'll not slay this sacred cow.

In summary even higher prices are to be expected in the near future.
Heng I gave up Thailand cheong scene more than 15 years ago. :D
