Looks like Downing has accepted his fate and is looking for a way out.... West Ham in interested in him. :)

Think January window will be a very busy one for Pool. Players like Downing, Henderson who have not been in the starting 11 could be on their way out. Not so sure abt Borini's fate as he has not impressed the coach for more than a dozen games. Since love is already lost betn AC n BR, hope West Ham buy out AC with a decent price.

1 defender, 1 goalkey n 1 striker would be nice to strengthen our squad.

you will. read BR's desire to rest Suarez n SG n field young players like Suso n Wisdom. hopefully the youngsters wont let us down. Udinese is a different kind of meat from the likes of Norwich n Young Boys and a tough game is expected.

Shelvey with a Stevie-like goal from midfield!

Dare I say, assist from Downing, credit to him.

Liverpool' defence was like a sieve allowing the italians to attack at will.

Second half was poor, BR rightly had a go at the team.

Sigh. Damn dissapointed the reds lost to udinese. We did poorly in the second half. But fret not. We shall advance into the Europa league. But udinese goals were what a cracker.

I worry for tomorrow's game vs Stoke City. If the defence continue to play like this Liverpool will be massacred in their home ground as Peter Crouch is in top form now. Always it has been the ex-Liverpool players who will score against us when they return to Anfield. ;)

And this guy is still only 20!!
He really reminds me or a young stevie (including his sometime too enthusiatic challenges)..
Wat a player he will be after he gain more experience...

Together with suso and lucas, we'll have gerrard-alonso-macherano ver. 2....

I hope Liverpool will fix their defensive problems. :( Too many a time let in a cheap goal. The midfield and striker depts seemed to be getting better.

If Stoke plays at home, I will be more fearful. But Pool playing at home means with Fans as the 12th men, n Ref as the 13th men, it will all boil down to our players' desire to win. Stoke will be expected to pack a busload in their defence. I wont be surprised if game ends in under 2.5 with Pool winning by 1-0, 2-0. If Pool doesnt win home games like this against Stoke n next agt Reading, we do not deserve to be in the top 6 this season.
