In JB malaysia, when a fat lamb was being spotted and marked, the robber will hurt and rob the victim. You can always hear news about singaporean being robbed in JB due to the high crime rate and the lack of security control.

But in Batam or may be other parts of indonesia are different, majority of the poor people and the unemployed tends to beg or minta for money. Even if they are not given any money, they will not hurt the person. It is probably in their culture that they treat people with respect. :p

However, in indonesia only have big riots (i.e year 1998) or demonstrations by the rakyat especially in the big cities like jakarta or surabaya.

Batam, Bali and the Riau islands are considered by many indonesians as the safest place in indonesia that is free from social unrest.

Statistic study have also shown that normal crime rate in Indonesia is very much lower than in malaysia.

Therefore not to worry too much about safety issue but it will be good not to expose valuables and keep a low profile at all times. :)

Indonesia has a muslim majority of 91%, 6% christian and 3% chinese but is still not considered as a muslim country.

On the other hand, malaysia's population has only 50% muslim but has already been known as a muslim country. The muslim law in msia which is applied to muslim is very strict. After a certain time in the evening, even couples are not allowed to go out together unless they are married.

For those cheongsters who wish to look for nasi lemak in bolehland will normally go to those hotel health centre for massage service + fj. But the nasi lemak masseuse available is not as many as the local chinese girls. In order that these hotel health centre can have their business running smoothly, they may pay to get "protected" in the event of a raid.

A captain in the health centre revealed that in the event of a raid, the counter receptionist will press a button and this will activate all the massage room lights to continously blinking non-stop, signalling to all the customers to stop all the hanky panky action immediately and start to dress up properly and quickly to avoid kena caught with their pants down.... :D

There is another lobang to look for nasi lemak which is to go through the OKT recommendation. The OKT will arrange the customer to meet the Nasi lemak at a certain hotel room at a certain time for short time normally one hour, of course all these must be done discreetly. :o

Therefore due to the strict laws in msia, having nasi lemak overnight is almost close to impossible..... :)

But if want to try spore nasi lemak which can be found in FL dome 3, the damage is about S$200 per shot per hour. + S$30 hotel 81 room = S$230

Damage for Msia nasi lemak is about 200 ringgit per shot per hour = S$80 (inclusive of hotel room)

By comparison between spore & msia NL, it is cheaper by S$150.

However if you are budget concious, you may go to batam massage 82 or new berlian, the cewek there for short time is lagi cheaper only charge 150k = S$21 per shot per hour.

So Batam will always have the advantage over JB in terms of panggil ayam.

Anyway do you see any difference between a NL and a cewek ? ;)

spore nasi lemak $200 per shot? L12 or 24...$30 only...82..150k...but the quality at L12 batam is better ...60k only hehe!!!
precisely what i mean, fucking muslim cewek in malaysia is very risky...not the robbers...the chances of getting robbed are less than getting caught with nasi lemak in the room...hehe!!!

yes muslim in msia cant be touched, it's too risky. I have a msian chinese fren (they were around 20++ yrs old), they were drinking beer with 2 malay perempuan at their rented hostel, & suddenly the officer from the muslim court raided the house, 2 malay perempuan big time trouble. & I have no idea bout muslim law in indonesia, but at msia, u have to convert to muslim by law if u marry a muslim. Pls stay away from msian muslim to avoid trouble.

Massage 82? Maybe u went there late? I went there earlier this month morning there were a lot to pick :D but I went there last month none left due to long holiday.

As for MUSLIMS in INdonesia, they are not that extreme as Malaysia. YES, they consider themselves as muslims, but they dont pray, spread islam like the fantics in Malaysia. Although there are some extremist, but they are condemmed by most of their people too. The surge in such ideology comes from ARABs, who migrated here. Bringing their war of hate and their brand of islam to this place.

Majority of Indonesians are peaceful, that I dare to say. Some tribal people are more fiece in nature, like the Batak, Flores, Maduras. Javanese are polite in nature.

Not to forget to mention that there are much practice of local mambo jambo that cast spells and nature whorship too.

Most of the crimes I know here are pick pocket or shoplifting. Accidents are mainly becos of motorcyclist driving recklessly. 1998 riot is some big shot trying to create social unrest so that he can take over. Many places that got burn and many rapes are commited by people OUTSIDE THEIR KAMPONGS. The idea is to create a great social unrest and someone can use military law to rule....

Fortunately, majority of the people did not follow these hooligans and the army put down the unrest. The rest is history.

If I want music, and more quiet atmosphere, I go to hotel lounge, where there will be music played and order a drink, where I relax. If I want to bio ceweks, I go foodcourts, order beer to drink, or if I am bored, I go out with kakis and my managers to have a light drink and dinner.
