Cold night maybe but it warms my heart reading your post. Cheers bro ;)

Re: Momo Sissoko.

Momo has heart but need to polish up the skill of ball distribution. It's sort of getting worse lately but I'm sure Rafa will notice tat n rectified tat.

The fact is Momo has always loss his fair share of possession n wins a fair share back. The difference might be the person who lies next to him in the midfield. Someone has to mop after him when the ball is lost in the midfield area. If u were 2 choose between Alonso n Mascherano 2do the job now.... Alonso will do a better job.

4 me right now Momo n Mascherano does not fit 2gether as yet.

I guess the best way for momo to brush up his skills is to loan him out.
Someone has to get his ball back when he lose the ball in the midfield.
This is a luxury which no club can afford. I rather see him loan out and wait for him to be ready, rather than jeopadize the team. Patient or not, he does not have the skills to hold a regular midfield position at Pool at this moment.
Rafa may have plans for him and that is great but think of the current situation lst... 21 points behind Man U is a very big gap....

..

This is a good option, for him to prove himself worthy of a regular place in the side. Problem is, we need some good acquisitions first :D

hold your horses bro, it is very unlike sissoko to lose possession, but every player has his off days. in fact during his first few matches for liverpool, i saw nobody was able to take the ball away from him. and his ball control was superb.

i think sissoko must have hated the day rafa signed mascherano, his rival in central midfield now. mascherano is a natural defensive midfielder, he can sit in front of the back 4 and just do nothing but defend and win possessions. whereas for sissoko, i feel he can offer something else, a player whose tall height can bring him to a higher level - with towering headers! :D

thanks to all bros here who replied my ramblings in the middle of the nite. can some kind hearted bro teach me how to quote posts from different bros, please... thank u. like that wont waste posts replying 1 by 1.

like bro cummon and bro exciter101 said, the gap between liverpool and manure is unacceptable but expected. besides unable to beat them, liverpool does not have the consistency to beat the lower teams. liverpool are too dependent on certain players to hit form and has very little backup when they dont deliver. it comes to the point that pool needs about 2 more worldclass players who can turn the game around with a single touch, and more importantly, draw the opposition defence to them. this would open the game up a lot for the other players.

bro rahl, thanks for the compliment. i m not cold now but still lonely leh...:D

bro jjmyarea, mascherano and sissoko r not meant to play side by side, they r substitutes, not complements. i would hate the day to see 2 defensive midfielders play side by side in the middle of the park for liverpool. the villa game might be that alonso needed a break or carrying a minor knock. ordinarily, i dont see the 2 playing together.

but again, i would like to say u guys really have character to be supporting liverpool. for the past 17 years, almost every season has been a heartache for us fans but u r still here. well, except for bro castrol:D he deserves more respect cos he's been disappointed with spurs all his life!!!!

Bro _AXL_, to so call "multi-quote" from different posts, click on the icon beside the Quote button which looks like a piece of paper with the " and + signs. Upon clicking it, the originally blue icon will turn red and the + sign will become a - sign. Click on this icon respectively for all the posts that you wanna quote and when you are done, just click the Quote button on any post and ta-dah! Multi-quote :) Hope you understand my explanation. LOL.

Liverpool fan here too!!! :D

Mascherano is like Dieter Hamann, a natural defensive midfielder also. Look at Hamann contributions, only one word can describe it "Superb"....
We need a midfielder who can win ball in the midfield and not lose ball...
Hope momo can improve with the games that Rafa is putting him in.

dietmar hamann was great, but whenever he wins the ball back, he does not have any attacking tendencies although he was damn reliable. everyone knows him as the player who perfected the square pass at liverpool. that says a lot of his playing style. momo still has a long way to go, no doubt about it. but i believe he has a future. maybe 1 day, he will develop into another vieira. then pool can channel all their attacks through him and let gerrard free to do what he does best, run riot.

on a personal note, sissoko reminds me of the old english 1st division playing style. everyone just had so much determination to win and there were no clear favourites in almost every game. i still believe that a very fit and determined team is very hard to beat, ala reading this season and wigan in the last. they just ran their hearts out. always gives me a warm feeling inside when i m watching such games, even as a neutral. but that's just me. guess i grew up watching ronnie whelan, steve mcmahon, steve nicol, mark lawrenceson, mcmanaman, rush, my personal god fowler run their hearts out. makes them really hard to beat. makes me feel that if i m determined and willing to put in the effort, i probably would win.:D

It's a poor idea. First, what does it do to the player emotionally, to go from first team to being outcast? Players are not pawns on the chessboard made of wood. They are still people.

Two, from a strategic point of view, it's a bad idea. You have no control over how Momo will be played by the new coach.

Hamann plays in midfield with an invisible forcefield around him. How else can you explain how he can hold the ball up and has so much time with it? ;)

hahahaha....

aye, strong, is the force in that one. but does only, the square pass!!!

his success rate in passing damn bloody high lor, cos he always does the 5 yard square pass. maybe houllier banned him from trying those defence splitting passes out of defence.
