I think when full time is up Liverpool would have 40 shots at goal!

Borini must be damn unlucky. Come on as substitute and then injured again. Hopefully not dislocated shoulder or more serious muscle tear!

Dun be too happy.... even as the match is currently in progress.... there has been rumours of an inquiry into allegations of complicity between Liverpool and Swansea of this match. The management of Swansea are expected to release a press statement after the match.

I hope this does not turn into a kelong investigation and kenna points deduction penalty.

Swansea fielded a second string team becoz they wanted to preserve their players for the Cup final. Nothing to do with Pool playing their 1st team players.

great win... and a brilliant build up for enrique's goal!!
we have to convert more of our chances, cannot expect to have 30+ shots every match...

Poor Borini. Likely out for the rest of the season with dislocated shoulder. But good to see Coutinho havin a good debut. At least our midfield now looks really decent, with Henderson and Downing regaining their form and fighting for a place. Joe Allen seemed to have lost his form lately; hope to see the old self back again.

Borini is jinxed..... maybe the stars are hinting he is not suited for the Reds.
Btw, Coutinho looks good..... got potential to develop into another Suarez or Falcao twin :p

with Sturridge and Suarez playing together the attacking options become much better and with new boy Couthino it can only become better.

but in the next Europa League game against Zenit, both Sturridge n Couthino can't play and Borini is out for the rest of the season.

BR really need to pull a rabbit out of the hat to win this game.

Ermmm ... seriously not sure if there are problems with our training methods which some players may not find suitable. Aquilani, Joe Cole, Owen, Agger, Henderson, Charlie Adam, Carroll, Lucas, (the list goes on) ... all expensive long term casualties.

over the years, quite tulan when we sign a high profile signing who come with lots of promises but ended up with long term injury, unable to prove himself n eventually sold to other clubs at a discount. no need to quote names, too many liao. :(

Sturridge must have at least 5 good chances to score last night but he kept missing. SG must have watched until quite tulan til, when Pool was awarded 2nd penalty he asked Sturridge to take it so that he could gain confidence with a goal. Luckily he scored or else ........ :D Hopefully over time, Sturridge would become a better player and a more clinical finisher.
