Now is Ramadhan month. First 3 days, middle 3 days and last 3 days before Hari Raya, all night spots are closed. On other days if they are open, it is from 9pm to 2am only.

Play safe. Check into big hotels like Planet Holiday, I hotel, Harris hotel , Harmoni One if you want to avoid being raided by the police or some Muslim organization .

Small hotels are well known to be raided during the fasting month.

The best and stress free thing is to wait ramadan month over... 1-2 weeks after raya then go... all business times back to normal... makan places all open... no need worry raids... isn't it better and convenient... tahan a bit la brurs if possible... hahaha... 19 aug over already...

Good advise. It sucks to be raided and door knocked while bonking.

I used to go into the "closed" joints by the back door. Also will have helpful man outside to show u the way.

Each joint paid polisi 25 juta a month.
And daily entertaining those road side polisi,

Hahaha, these people talk only. You think they dont bonk during ramadan? THese WL need money too you know. batam is not a cheap place in Indonesia.

As for timing wise, it is better to do so late Aug/Begining Sept. This is ramadan month and not many joints are open for fun for long hours.
