Once a liverpool fan, always a liverpool fan.YNWA

guys who havent been to anfield must go before they tear down. then u can experience the power of the kop end's rendition of YNWA. they can sing, cheer and taunt for the whole game. every liverpool fan should go there and stand beside the most fanatical liverpool fans at the kop end. it was an experience i would never forget. when the americans demanded changes to the stadium and wanted the kop end to double its size, 1st thing that came to mind is that i would pity their opponents. they probably cant hear themselves shouting out orders to their teammates then.:D

Bro, when Liverpool are defending at the kop end the crowd must stop singing so Reina and his defenders can hear each other. :D

Top bloke, whatever his football skills.

SISSOKO REVEALS EYE PROBLEMS
Jimmy Rice 23 March 2007
Momo Sissoko is still having problems with his eye more than a year after his career-threatening injury against Benfica.
The midfielder told LFC Magazine he still feels occasional effects of the accidental kick to his face which caused retina damage.

"My eye is okay, but it's not like before," said Sissoko. "I still have a problem, particularly when there is a lot of sunshine.

"Sometimes I get pain and I can't see properly so I have to make sure I wear sunglasses when it is sunny.

"There was a moment against Manchester United when I was stood outside their penalty area waiting for the ball.

"It had been kicked high up in the air and as it came down, the sun caught my eye and I couldn't see the ball properly.

"I lost sight of it for a second and ended up hitting it straight back up in the air when I had time to control it. That was a problem, but it doesn't happen too often."

Many feared the 22-year-old would not play again following the injury – and the man himself admits he is thankful for every game he now plays.
"On the whole, I have to be happy simply because I can play football again.

"I feel I have come a long way from when the first doctor I saw in Portugal told me that was probably it for me and football. I say 'thank you' every day that I am able to play again.

"I did think about it ahead of the Barcelona game. It was a year on since I was injured against Benfica, but I pray all the time. I pray for the future and for every minute while it lasts.

"I suppose I am lucky. But if I think about the injury against some of the misery that exists elsewhere in the world, it doesn't really compare."

Pools are not playing well recently might be due the rotation policy. Hope they can do better next season.:)

What's your reaction when a Liverpool fan says so in your MU forum ?
I am sure you MU fans have many other better things to do than being a wind up manager in here.

Oh, that’s not very nice. Kop end is very special to Liverpool and Liverpool fans. Cos they r made up of mostly low income workers who lived there all their lives. Liverpool is special bcos of them. Anfield was and still is a fortress bcos of them.

This is a Liverpool thread. Most of the time, we welcome other supporters to come in, post their views of players, the gaffer, rumours, formation, whatsoever. but everything has been cordial. they can have their views. But making fun, errr… u get responses.

All I can say is people can be Christians, Buddhists, muslims. But here, we have Liverpool as our religion. Unless I have a death wish, I wouldn’t be running into a church and tell the worshippers that the present bible was actually compiled and rewritten by the great roman emperor, Constantine, who in fact was a worshipper of the pagan gods!!!

U also don’t see us running to the man u threads, saying that people in Manchester don’t even support them. I think u know what roy keane said about the people attending the matches at old Trafford, suits with their prawn sandwiches. U also don’t see me saying that ferguson, being knighted somemore, has no intergrity, for refusing to acknowledge that cristiano tripped over air to win penalties, even when it was so obvious from videos. Whatever I have said here r facts, but we don’t go posting there. At least I don’t, cos I have not even viewed it once.

All I m saying is that this is inner sanctum, u can rebut me or chide me for lousy comments anywhere else, I really don’t mind. If I can defend my comments, I will. If I can and u r right, I m never too shy to apologise. And zap me if I have said something wrong or if I was being immatured. As long as it’s reasonable, I will take them. Not that points mean much here, so long as I m not in moderation.

Finally, yes I took offence in the cheap shots at the kop, but I also understand that u don’t understand why cos u have never been a Liverpool fan and have never visited anfield. But I guarantee, even as a neutral, goosebumps will invade u when they start singing. So post yr views about Liverpool here, be it good or bad. I m sure we r able to defend admirably and cordially. Pot shots at Liverpool, u get kingeros lor.

Cheers to all Liverpool fans and those unfortunate ones who r not. and no quarreling in the holy temple of Liverpool where God has appeared to us in the form of a toxteth terror.:D

You're really patient ... I'm mostly not.

Best of all, you have a wicked sense of humour ... very comparable to Carra (in words) & to Robbie (in deeds) that I really wonder if you were not born or bred a scouser too.

PS: I noticed you've taken over my 0400H slot. Next time, I'll make sure they prep some supper for you.

There was a football programme I saw on cable a week or so ago, and he was featured and playing a drum casually. I think it was before one of the Barca games.

Of course in the end it's the football and team that counts. But sometimes we just don't see enough of the behind underneath the jersey.

:p

i felt like a patient on friday when i went to this club called clinic. they made diners sit on wheelchairs!

i was subtle cos i felt qdbp and evilspawnsss didnt really mean to be disrespectful. they were just having some fun. so no offence. and i think evilspawnsss is a fellow liverpool fan too. so my apologies to him for a case of mistaken identity.

yes, i hate manure. but only those damn arrogant new fans. by new, i mean those who start supporting them in the 90s. they r the same ones who disappeared when arsenal and chelsea were winning the league. yes, i m like u. i would rather chelsea win the league this year. damn, i would rather wimbledon win the league than manure. but have to say i respect quite a few fellows i know who supported manure since the 70s and the 80s. at least they knew when i asked them who frank stapleton was and who partnered steve bruce in defence then. in fact, i pity those diehard manure fans from the 70s and 80s. how r they feeling when their team has become so commercialised? how sad can a team get when they have got more fans in sg than in manchester itself? my condolences to them.

i dont only have a wicked humour, i m wicked too, according to my colleague who is a newly converted chelsea fan. i wish i was born a scouser too, then at least i can call liverpool my team. i cant, it would be too shameless to do so cos i m born and bred here, not even after i have visited anfield 4 times since the 90s.

bro kingeros, dont mean to take over yr 4am slot. just that work has its requirements, cos my colleagues in the states do not care that is 4am in the morning here in sg. u can keep the supper to yrself, else my bloody "siong" gym sessions would go down the drain then... cheers, YNWA;)
