I was told it is due to the money exchanger in raffles place have no more RMB notes liao which i don know whether it is true or not. Haiz...sian with so low exchange rate.

I check the internet before I left my office at 5.30 pm

I was showing at 4.85#### on my system screen

In People Park, my friend did a remittance @ 4.87

I check with money changer and is only 4.80.

SO keep aside my money and wait for a better rate.

Cos I am changing SIN 6K so it will be a difference. Small sum is not much a diff

in china , rate is no better. 4.65 (1k SGD abv) best rate in zhuhai, 4.60 in macau. 28.03.2010

Today I have remit money for myself ( :D ) at 2.50pm , the remittance rate is 4.85
