Pool vs Everton this Sunday, a match which may well decide the fate of the 6th spot for a Europa place.

The table reads:

Everton 35 15 14 6 14 59
Liverpool 35 14 12 9 25 54

Pool's remaining ties:

5/12 Fulham (A) 5/12 Prem
5/19 QPR (H) 5/19 Prem

Everton's remaining ties:

5/12 West Ham (H) 5/12 Prem
5/19 Chelsea (A) 5/19 Prem

If Pool beats Everton, they'll only be 2 points away from their rivals. They must then win the remaining 2 games and hope Everton drop points against West Ham and/or Chelsea. Pool have a better GD of 25 vs Everton's 14; So even if Everton beats WH (which they are expected to) and manage to get a point off Chelsea, Pool will still finish ahead!

Some may say it's a little too late for Pool, but better late than never! If you don't try your best, you won't know. If Pool can't win their remaining 3 games, they do not deserve to be the '6th best' team in EPL.

Can Pool do it bros???

Yes they can, but bros KangTuo and pomrakthai can help by not watching their games :D

I dun see why is there a need for 6th placing? Only the top 4 places matters because of the money coming from the CL. In contrast, the EuroLeague is a distraction as qualification starts during the middle of pre-season and the money reward is paltry. IMHO, I would prefer LFC to miss out on Europe and have a proper pre-season to prepare for next season's challenge.

Bros KangTuo & pomrakthai..... if you are watching TV now, please switch to CH 05 and watch Ironman 2 instead of the Liv-Eve match. :D

As a Liverpool fan, this game is painful to watch. It's no use winning big and then drawing the next game. A lot of possession lost becos of over dribbling and too much fanciful soccer, sharpness not there and not clinical in front of goals. There were many times when a simply pass will do n they chose to do otherwise. I am a die hard Liverpool fan n it's really painful supporting Liverpool nowadays. If you are a neutral, you will feel that Liverpool is the most kelong team this season....

this was supposed to be a fierce full-blooded derby but it was probably 1 of the most boring and disappointing we had witnessed.

the same old problem happened again - we juz could not score! not that we didnt have chances ... there were at least half a dozen good chances but
credit to Everton for some smart defending which kept us out. in fact we could have lost had the ref not disallowed Distin's header.

still some faint hopes for us to finish 6th (on goal diff) if we win both our remaining games and Everton only get 1 point. juz stay optimistic and keep our fingers crossed! :)

BR oredi said in his press conference he prefer not to be in Europe as it will disrupt his pre-season preparations..... He wants to properly prepare the team to really challenge for a top 4 spot. :)

Actually I agree with his thinking. :D
