Three cheers for Crouch. Hip Hip Hurray.:D

A great performance all round although got a few scares. Mustn't forget players like Pennant, Aurelio and Mascherano who helped to piece everything together.

Our new owners must be mighty proud and happy. Saw one of them clapping and smiling, must be pretty impressed.

Way to go Mighty REDs.

Cheers

Excellent work on the flanks for the goals, and quality finishing from Crouchie.

Perhaps the Finnan-Arbeloa-Pennant choices on the right will allow Stevie to play more central (he was central today and tried to support Crouchie but the ball didn't fall for him).

Speedy still needs a lot of work, although his workrate good.

Hey, Hey... never knew you were a POOLfan too... :D

Anyway, Arbeloa's beginning to look like a very good buy indeed, just hope he won't end up like another Josemi. But have to note that he's played in top matches now (Barca twice and now, Arse). Aurelio (barring injuries) looks better as the season goes on, top player for me too. And fuck off, all those Pennant haters, he looks like the real deal now, albeit not your fake ronaldo or even Qauresma. He's beginning to show real committment on the ball and willing to get stuck in too. And I feel he's got a better footballing brain now.

Was also thinking that Crouchie played as well as he did last nite (by scoring the perfect hattrick- Right foot, Left foot and Head) cos he wants to prove to Benitez something- don't sell him. Well in, Pete!! :D Overall, great match, end-to-end action and played at a very high tempo too...

Now, time to help arse take revenge on PSV...

C'MON YOU MIGHTY REDS!!!

Speedy needs another good pre-season... together with some healthy competition from Kewell... ;)

it's actually playing with 2 defensive midfielders, one destroyer and one passer. 3 attacking midfielders to support the lone striker, left, right and centre. personally, i just feel that it is more balanced but then, i m not a football manager.

seems like pool played this formation last nite, freeing stevie to roam around... this reminds me of the damn effective rafa-led valencia. indulge me while i gloat a bit...;)

excellent all round performance by the team. aurelio was magnificient in his delivery, arbeloa was rampaging, pennant finally making arsenal pay, crouch was simply breathtaking. not forgetting mascherano. thought he had a very good game too. but what i liked most was that gerrard wasnt playing too well. that's what i liked. didnt need him to be captain fantastic every time pool plays well.

but have to admit that i got a bit worried when gerrard was taken out, arsenal started to take control of the game, especially after agger scored the 3rd goal. balls up to my mouth when gallas scored and arsenal continued to threaten. then robocrouch to the rescue!!!

it's going to be a good weekend!!! YWNA:D

Even though I am Liverpool fan for along time. But, I think last night's game is like a show for Liverpool's new boss. Liverpool did not played well.

Agreed bro. The farther we are from the days when Stevie carried us on his back, the better. No slagging off Stevie's value mind you but we got to start playing as a team. ;)

Possession and short passing, Arsenal were superior. We had the quality from the wide areas and Crouchie's finishing.

Or should I say Crouchinaldo ;)

arsenal r the best short passing team in the league what. didnt we know that long, long ago? but pool really countered the threat of the overlapping fullbacks. i was particularly worried about eboue. i rate him as the best find last season for arsenal.

so now, we have crouchinaldo and gerrardinho liao!!!:D
