Maybe many we're thinking club football but on
international stage yes there was a partnership

it was Chris Sutton n Alan Shearer...

Sutton became the most expensive player in English football in July 1994, when he was transferred from Norwich City to Blackburn Rovers for £5 million.[6] In his first season at Ewood Park he developed a strong partnership (known as 'SAS') with Alan Shearer (who scored 34 times that season) and scored fifteen Premier League goals to help secure the club's first league title since 1914.

Real Madrid is planning to lure Luis Suárez to Santiago Bernabéu in January with a bid of £20 million + Karim Benzema.

Tonight is indeed a big night for both clubs with their star players. I can't wait for the return of Coutinho with our SAS combo in attack.

disapppointing game played by Liverpool. strange to play John Flanagan in the starting lineup instead of more experienced players. Moses, Enrique, Agger not good enough for starting eleven??? Arsenal was given too much space and midfield was lost. sigh...............

I saw the match and knew it was one of those days...haizzz...anyway we had performed beyond expectations for past 10 games...:)

Newcastle beat Chelsea...we managed to draw newcaslte...:)

We drew 2-2 with Arsenal last season and this season we lost...so nett lost -2 points...:)

Arsenal played quite well... and the man in black helped a bit. Dun understand why after the CB defender purposely brought down Suarez and the game restarted almost immediately n double CB referee disallowed the free kick n needed to restart... this referee needs to do his course again. A lot of stupid decisions. If the goal was counted, then it will be a different game. Anyway also need to question BR's 11 selection.

think we failed last night mainly cos our 4 main men were not on form - S n S, SG and Couthinho.

It would not be fair to say we do not have enough chances to win the game. Ars took their few chances n were rewarded. Both S n S came close, which Suarez had 1 shot which juz scraped past the post. There was anthr good chance which Suarez choose to shoot instead of passing to Sturridge who was free on the right.

SG was't his dominant self while Coutinho obviously lacked playing time as his passes were often overhit to Suarez.

Next week's game agt Fulham is a must win before we face anthr difficult fixture at Everton.

can see Arsenal players chasing down the balls and not letting SAS combination get to work.

well..............after all the action played, we are still in 3rd place but the chasing pack are closing the gap.
