I know where you are coming from in terms of our performance (Bro AXL has taken the trouble to explain his view carefully and I agree we could play better). But there is no need to stoop so low as to suggest we couldn't have won without a "pact".

Sorry bro....;)

Well, I don't know how good the REDS were in the 80s. I was away most part of the 80s but I do know that they were the king in the 70s when I was in Secondary school.;)

70s spillover to the 80s, u should have seen them in the 80s. guarantee they were even better. but no sweat here. everyone's entitled to their own views. just be prepared to defend them if u feel strongly about it. no offence eh, bro? cheers...;)

btw, away in the 80s? sounds damn suggestive... :D

Well, I maybe wrong and I do hope that I am wrong.

I GUESS U WERE WATCHING THE GAME ON A DIFFERENT PLANET:p

So far Arbeloa is way ahead of that useless Josemi. Last time whenever Josemi play, I shake head and start to tremble. Arbeloa I am sure will turn out to be one of Rafa's best purchases.

And fuck off, all those Pennant haters, he looks like the real deal now, albeit not your fake ronaldo or even Qauresma. He's beginning to show real committment on the ball and willing to get stuck in too. And I feel he's got a better footballing brain now.

I have been a Pennant supporter al along. Always felt that he is doing great work down the right hand side, although sometimes he seems a bit lazy. His performance for this match is simply excellent. But, I suspect it was becos it was against Arsenal and he has something to prove. Hope it is not a flash in the pan and he keeps on working at it and doing his best everytime for Pools. His combination play with Arbeloa was just great. That first goal is simply marvellous.

Yeh, me too. I liked it a lot. But it was very messy at the beginning. We lost a lot of balls in the middle. I think becos the players aren't very used to it yet.

When I read the first sentence, I was like scratching my head ...... then I understood.

Bro, gotta agree with you man. How many times in the past we had to keep relying on Stevie G to lift the team along. He did not have a particularly good game -- can see that he looked a bit lethagic prob becos of the England games. But finally, we are seeing that the rest of the team is also pulling their weight. Let's hope we can continue to do it, but, we also want Stevie to play very well too.

Cheers

u r definitely wrong lah bro, our lads were really fired up for this game and they pressed arsenal hard all the way and they were unable to play their normal game...this was similar to the way rafa's valencia played. Anyone still remember when rafa brough his valencia team to anfield and they tore us with their style of play...:D

but arsenal was somehow off colour last night though....think they are over reliant on henry, just like we were too dependant on gerrard some time back...
