Suarez: 2 goals, 2 assists (Flanagan and Sterling). If the Henderson goal is considered as well, it's 2 goals and 3 assists.

Suarez should have bag a hat trick. But not bad, we should have Suarez captain all the December games!

Next match is against Cardiff at Anfield..... I agree with The Milk Man that we need to score more goals as we are behind Man City by -10 goals difference and lead Arsenal by just +3 goals.

As for the Man City game coming up...... Liverpool has no need to fear them if they play like tonight again. :D

I think 3 Pool players stood out last night - Suarez, Henderson and Raheem.

Suarez - no need to say more. He was hungry, he was inspired (maybe by the captain's armband?)

Henderson - he was the unsung hero, picking up loose balls n doin all the dirty work. some of his passes last night were exquisite, incl the assist.

Raheem - his game seems to hv improved esp the past few matches. he gave a matured performance which troubled Spurs down the flanks. he made many telling passes across the box n was not afraid to take on the defenders. he definitely outshone Aaron Lennon n Andy Townsend!

Sakho was massive yesterday. He should have scored too. I like how physical he is. Skrtel and Agger looks too easy to push off at times. Let's celebrate the clean sheet too. Flanagan and Johnson are really good full backs. Johnson should have scored too. Only minor negative is Mignolet's distribution. Every time the ball is at his feet, I get worried.

It was a game where Henderson (finally) and Flanagan scored their first goals for the season. Sterling was playing like a blur sotong earlier in the season. Last night, he was like a sticky octopus. He really should just stick to his man and try to steal the ball back.

I like how Suarez reacted when Sterling scored. If Sterling has square the ball back to Suarez, Suarez would have scored his hat-trick. But Sterling scored instead and just look at how Suarez celebrated. He is a team player.

One side effect of this victory is that it makes it easier for us to sign players in January. Spurs is always bloody stealing our transfer targets. Think of how many transfer targets they have taken away from us. Now we can tell future targets they are better off joining Liverpool.

this statemenst made on 26-09-2013 became very true now...:)

Spurs players are slow to the ball last nite...very tired players...Arsenal players already complained that they are tired even before they play Man City who had one more day rest after CL game mid week...:)

Spurs still have a game in the league cup this mid week whereas our players can savour and rest before Sat home game against Cardiff...:)

Imagine yourself as a goalkeeper facing a Liverpool swift counter-attack. In the past, you know the main danger men are SG, LS, DS. So your team will try to cut off the supply to SG, LS and DS. Or you will try to dispossess these 3 guys before they can shoot. SG don't have the energy to play this kind of fast game for 90 mins anymore.

Last night, our attack comes from Coutinho, LS, Sterling, Henderson, Flanagan, Sakho, Johnson. Every one of these guys can score. If you were a goalkeeper facing a swift Liverpool counter-attack, it's not easy to pick out how the final attack will come from. When you have many players capable of scoring passing the ball around and they can shoot any time and from anywhere, we are less predictable. We are like a group of lions playing around with our prey before a meal.
