Its just like aguero, yaya, silva, nasri, navas and negredo putting the finishing touch isnt it...just that these players are more establish..

Our attackers are as good as theirs. Individually we may lose out but we play well collectively. If you compare Man City against us, we are quite even when it comes to attack but our defenders are way better. Our goalie is much better than theirs too. Their 2nd goalie always drop the ball.

Aguero may be out for 6 weeks due to the hamstring injury he picked up in the Arsenal game. Good time for us to meet them.

absolutely delighted with the performance yesterday, we played like men possessed & it was the first time we dominated the game from start to finish........& against such a quality opponent in spurs!! & in their own backyard!! i saw from anor forum that we won 5-0 bcos we have lost our last five away trips to WHL & what a payback this time round.

wonder what did BR do to galvanise his players as no one see this performance coming at all, as all the pundits are talking about how spurs midfield is going to bulldoze past our weakened midfield w/o SG................maybe its time to consider dropping SG if the midfield trio of lucas, henderson & allen performed like this every game.....& sakho was a monster in defence & attack, wonder how poor agger is going to win back his plance now...............credit also to allen on how he managed to pick himself up from the everton game & I now see y BR paid over the odds to bring him to anfield...........also with this performance, we are peaking at the right moment to face man city & chelsea........cant wait for these games.........YNWA

One side effect of this victory is that it makes it easier for us to sign players in January. Spurs is always bloody stealing our transfer targets. Think of how many transfer targets they have taken away from us.

on the hindsight, I think we should thank Spur for stealing Dempsey, Sigurdsson, Eriksen from us... :p:p

I was surprise to see Flanagan at the end of Suarez's cross....! Was like "wat the hell is he doing there..??!!".... Haha... :D:D

Big win for Pools in a one-sided game. Spurs was outplayed totally

Fantastic third goal and a nice cheeky flip by Suarez

Looking forward to another win

I am still on cloud 9 from the win against Tottenham. :D

Nevertheless, I wish Flanagan keeps his present run of good form. Sterling and Flanagan are going to mature and improve.

Keep an eye on Jordan Ibe too. :)

want to share this comment I came across in TeamTalk forum:

"Watching Flanno score today and how the team got around him was just touching. KK smiling in the stands was priceless too. Simple things like this make me proud to be a Pool fan - YNWA"

it's so so true, really speaks out my mind....

have to say the moment I enjoyed most is Flanagan's goal... :):):)

Losing is one thing but losing by 5 goals on home ground with 100 million spent on various players is a major problem for the manager.

Bad news for Liverpool as the CL would have been a distraction for both Arsenal and Man City..... without the CL both of them can concentrate on the BPL which means more competition for LFC.
