2-1 loss is respectable result. Look at Man City recent home games winning margins!

We were playing against 14 opponents (11 Man C players and 2 linesmen plus 1 referee)

hard luck...
bad lineman...

i think we played very well, missed some very good chances... we need to take our chances at this highest level...
coutinho should have his 2nd goal...
sterling missed an absolute sitter, but beside that miss, he played very well too... unlucky to have that "miles onside" ball unfairly ruled out...

suarez is suarez, wat can I say about him... when he is not scoring, he turns provider, his few through ball to sterling is perfect placed...

angry tat we lost , but happy with our performance :)...
if we played like tis every week, we can beat any team...

We can only blame ourselves for not taking our chances. Sterling will hopefully mature and calm down in shooting positions. I miss Flanagan. Skrtel will cost us a penalty one of these days with his shirt tugging type of marking.

Looking forward to the January transfer window.

ya lor, especially those stupid tv commentators have been zooming in and showing slow motion replay of his shirt tugging actions....

tat's y I dun have much complaints about Suarez's appeal for penalty was turned down when his shirt was almost torn off by his marker during a corner towards the end of the match... :p

Mason, who did appear to make errors on a number of key decisions against Liverpool, is based in Bolton which is technically in the county of "Greater Manchester."

Bolton is never considered to be part of the city of Manchester but that did not prevent Rodgers from implying that Mason is from "Manchester".

"We had no help whatsoever from the officials," said Rodgers.

"I thought they were horrendous. We had nothing go our way at all. I was surprised we're playing in Manchester with a referee from Greater Manchester. I didn't think we got any decision go for us.

"Hopefully we don't get a Greater Manchester referee again in a Liverpool-Man City game. I will ask the question (of the FA).

"I don't think we would get someone from the Wirral (which stands on the opposite side of the River Mersey from Liverpool) refereeing a Liverpool-Man City game."

Not the end of the world man, it's only mid season. There's still good chance that we can be champions.

He is being tactical smart....... dun just look at the player... you gotta look at the formation..... Lucas was keeping the shape of the formation with the rest of the team doing collective defending...... all it takes is just one crazy horse player running around aimlessly and the formation wil breaks creating loopholes for the opponents to exploit.

You never learn tactical movement in NS? ;)

Someone wrote in another forum that the officials received very attractive Christmas "Gifts" from the owners of Man City on X'mas eve...... :D

Obviously done to ensure victory for the Blues over the Reds.

Rodgers to receive FA sanction for his awesome comments about the match officials.

Most likely a fine + 1 match ban :D

Oops...... I forgot that SAF is now an advisor to the English FA...... change that to a fine + 3 match ban :D

I happened to watch the Cardiff game highlight last night.

Saw Skrtel tug opponent's jersey in penalty box at least 2x n quite obvious too but got away scott free.

Against bigger opponents (like MC) which referees might be biased, Skrtel may not be so lucky.
