Liverpool needs a playmaker. That poor boy Coutinho looked drained out.

A happy Christmas but lousy New Year :(
Lose again and we may end up below spurs and manure

It's a true fact we dun have enough experience players and good commanding centre backs to calm the defense.... But whatever is it, Liverpool already play wY above expectations with this young squad... all the big teams yet to play at anfield, destiny is still within their own hands.. A strong second half season finish, who knowS where Liverpool can reach??? Let's all still support and hope some good additions in the coming jan transfers... Well done lads!!!

it'll not be an easy game. Hull beat us 3-1 at home and they came here on the back of a 6-0 victory over Fulham. They were unlucky to lose to manure 2-3 after leading 2-0. Nonetheless, I expect a win for Pool. This is a significant game which could well define our season.

Can't blame him. This is his first experience with Christmas games. No other leagues in the world has 4 games in 10 days. If only his shooting is better..

The Eto challenge on Suarez in the box looked like a debatable penalty, the referee was juz a few meters away but probly brushed away the claims cos of Suarez' reputation.

Can anyone confirm this? It seems under the rules, fouls that will result in an indirect freekick will not be a penalty if it happens inside the penalty box. The referee saw the foul but because it is an indirect freekick type of foul, he cannot call for a penalty.

We need to buy players. Hope those stupid Americans understand. We gave a debut to a 19 year old Australian Brad Smith. On the bench yesterday was a 16 year old Jordan Rossiter. We are a club that are consistently in the top 10 earning clubs of the world, even though we don't qualify for Champions League. Look at the Chelsea and Man City bench. wtf man... how come we have a 16 year old on the bench? Joker probably still waiting for O level results.

actually I thot BR will bring Jordan Rossiter on, as he is a tough tackling midfielder, natural replacement for joe allen...

he is very highly rated in our youth setup, debuted for our U-19 at the age of 15 yo... and now at 16 yo, a regular in our U-21...

I feel the present owners are doing a decent job.

They gave Dalglish an estimated £115 million to spend on 9 players, of which, only 4 are with Liverpool at the moment.

Rodgers have spent an estimated £95 million till date on 15 players. 1 player has left the club, Sahin. Borini and Assaidi are loaned out.

Not forgetting, the owners have to balance the books and also, ensure stability within the club. John Henry and Rodgers have said it before, the cash is available to spend but it needs to be spent on players who will improve the club.

One such player is Mohamed Saleh, who is rumoured to arrive in January for £7 million.

Agreed with the above.
With the Fenway group, i think liverpool will go a long way ....

Of course, most of us ( including me and my 2 brothers) are disappointed that we lost 2 matches in a row, but guys, its away, against Man City and Chelsea.
3 points from Hotspur, man City and Chelsea is pretty decent ...

Very sure that we will be in CL come next season.

What abt Diego Costa or Falcao (club reported to be in financial problems)? If either comes, Top 4 finish is a real possibility!

Falcon is struggling at Monaco...... it seems he is not as good as everyone thought he was.

Diego Costa turned down Liverpool when he was approached in the summer.

Liverpool may lose 3 consecutive matches as they do not have fresh players to rotate.... those in the current team are bruised, tired and unlikely to be able to give 100% effort against Hull even if they wanted to as their bodies does not have enough recovery time.

in top 9, liverpool is oni @ 6, n in top 5, last ...

in top 5, liverpool has played all games away ... so wil haf home ground advantage against doze teams in 2nd half of tis season ...

in top 9, liverpool has played highest no of games away, 2gether wif soton ... followed by chelsea ... again, liverpool wil haf home ground advantage against most of dese teams in 2nd half of tis season ...

since liverpool wil b meeting most top 9 teams @ home, tis oso means dat liverpool wil b meeting most weaker teams away ...

liverpool muz make use of home ground advantage 2 beat ze stronger teams ... n shud not b complacent playing away 2 weaker teams ... tiz a gud opportunity 4 liverpool 2 b in top 4 @ n of season ...

interesting 2 note dat amongst ze top 5 teams, so far, none of dem can win away ...

city, arse, everton n manu wil play mor of their matches against top 9 teams away ... wif their poor away form, city may slide down in 2nd half ... wif mor tough matches @ home, chelsea may stake a strong challange 2 top ...
