Pool advanced into the 4th round with a relatively 'easy' tie away to either Bournemouth or Burton Albion over the weekend of Saturday 25 January. Good we avoided EPL or the tricky championship teams! Looking good to progress into the last 16! :)

It'll be nice to win the FA Cup for the 8th time. :)

We should be hoping Man U win in the 3rd round of the FA Cup so that Moyes can stay on as manager for as long as possible.

Moyes will be in the helm for a long time, for 2 reasons I feel :-

1. He was hand-picked by AF to succeed him.
2. AF is a non-executive director and club ambassador at Manchester United for a reason.

Just look at AVB. Once he leave, Spurs is now strong again. That is not good for us. Don't you wish AVB is still the manager of Spurs?

Well, this is quite tough to view as Tottenham is a team which had 11 managers in 18 years.

There is no "easy" matches against either Bournemouth or B&A...... although both are in the lower tier championship they are on form.

Bournemouth is hard to beat at their homeground and can easily cause an upset to Liverpool if they underestimate them.

B&A has a new Italian manager and many of their key players are loanees from their Serie A sister club..... not an easy team to play against.

However, in terms of quality, flair, fitness...we are every inch on top...

Easy game doesnt = sure win but tough games = possibility of loss..i rather meet these type of teams 1st and tougher teams at the end of the competition

Finishing in the top 4 is a priority now plus winning this cup will capped a fantastic season considering how we end up last season.

Manure now is performing very good..hope he stay long...aft ytd performance :D

One week gone already and still no movement on the transfer front.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Liverpool have been dealt a transfer blow this month with the news that moves for Mohammed Salah and Cristain Tello may have to wait until the summer.

Tello is needed at Barcelona for cover, though he hasn't started a league game since October. Gerard Deulofeu is expected to return to the Camp Nou in the summer, paving the way for Tello to join Liverpool.

The deal for FC Basel's Mohammed Salah was reported to be close to completion, but the latest news is that Liverpool are not willing to pay the asking price for the 'Egyptian Messi.'

Rodgers is keen on landing Salah, but Basel are asking for more than £10m for their prized asset and Rodgers is wary that it may take time for Salah to adapt to the rigours of the Premier League, so a January move may not be worth the money.

A tough fixture for Pool this weekend as they play away to Stoke.

Stoke's HOME record is pretty impressive which they've only lost once so far:
4W 5D and only 1L.
Only Norwich has managed to leave Stoke with all 3 pts.
Chelsea was defeated 3-2 here, while Saints, ManC and Everton were all held to draws.

Pool could be boosted by the return of Sturridge, who is much needed to relieve the burden of an overworked Suarez. Stoke is expected to play their trademark defensive and physical game which they'll jaga Suarez closely n shackle him given every opportunity. Sturridge's presence will perhaps draw some attention away from Suarez and give the Uruguayan more space to breathe.

Everton, Spurs and Manure are expected to win at home while Chelsea and Manc's away games tho tricky, they are still widely expected to win. Pool must grab all 3 pts else we might juz drift further away from the Top 3, and potentially slip into 6th place. I don't mind an UGLY WIN. :D
