Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson spoke about the Premier League title race with Nick Collins. He believes there are still six teams who could win the Premier League; Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Tottenham and Manchester United but believes Manchester City are currently the best-placed to claim the title.
P.S. Despite his retirement, he has not lost his bitterness and mind games towards Liverpool. |

Too easy for Pool tonight.
BR could hv subbed SaS like in the 70' to prevent injuries n keep them fresh agt Everton next mid week. But guess he didn't wanna incur the wrath of especially Suarez. Suarez just want to play 90 minutes of every single game!!! |

Brendan Rodgers turns 41 today.
Are we seeing the earliest days of an Anfield legend ? |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Still no signings by Liverpool yet in this transfer window. If no one comes in by the time it closes next week then we may see Liverpool struggle in the 2nd half of the season with the small squad and number of injuries mounting. It may end up in a similar situation like beginning of last season where the team has to play with youngsters.

Anyway since he prefers blue over red..... no point fighting over a player that does not want to play for you. The most important attribute in signing a player is his desire to play for your club. |

Tough tie awaits Pool as they play Arsenal at Emirates.
If we can get thru this tie we would be one of the favourites for the Cup. ManC will play Chelsea while Swansea plays Everton. ----------------- Big guns face off in FA Cup fifth round ESPN staff January 26, 2014 The FA Cup fifth-round draw provided two huge ties as Manchester City were paired with Chelsea and Arsenal drawn at home to Liverpool. The Premier League's current top four will face-off as the Blues received scant reward for their 1-0 fourth-round victory over Stoke City on Sunday. A trip to the Etihad Stadium now awaits Jose Mourinho, who won the FA Cup in 2007 during his first spell at Chelsea. Premier League leaders Arsenal, whose hunt for a major trophy stretches back to 2005, also face a tricky tie as seven-time FA Cup winners Liverpool visit the Emirates Stadium. Elsewhere, Everton boss Roberto Martinez faces former club Swansea at Goodison Park, while holders Wigan go to Cardiff and either Sheffield Wednesday or Charlton Athletic will ensure there is a lower-league presence in this season's quarterfinals. |
