“And when the Barclays Premier League goes to the crucial point, we all will have to play Champions League at the same time.

“To play, for example, like we are going to do in Istanbul against Galatasaray on the Wednesday, Fulham on the Saturday.

“Brendan’s chihuahua doesn’t do that. During the week it sleeps, eats and trains a little bit. So I have to say his chihuahua is a privileged one. Next season he will see what it is like to play in two, three, four competitions. This season he has this privilege which gives him a big advantage.”

Hendo is out due to the wrist surgery he had on thu. It should be quite interesting to see Brad Jones in action. May he have a good game to put some pressure on Mignolet.

Do you have any links to her page 3 Sun Shine Bro?

Good luck on finding it. Those page 3 girls of the Sun were more than 10 years ago. You'd definitely needed to have at least a D cup to be featured there. :D

Reserve keeper vs reserve striker..... lol
Arsene Wenger must have been psychogically damaged by last week's thrashing. I cannot believe that he put out a defensive team for a home game!!

The winner of tonite's match will go on to play Everton in the quarterfinals..... I think AR does not want to win this match so as to avoid a fixture pileup in the run-in to the season end. :D

unlucky....

we outplayed them again, this is at their home, but we din take our chances this time round... :(

on the bright side, comparing to our league game at emirates earlier the season when we were comfortably beaten, it shows how much we have improved..... :)

Consider this loss as a blessing in disguise...... now Liverpool can concentrate fully on getting into the top 4 for CL qualification & maybe a bonus of the top spot as we'll without the distraction of the FA Cup.

Arsenal will be stretched with their fixture congestion with 3 competitions to play and maybe that would cause them to drop points. :D

Unlucky. Played well but still lost. But that is football ......

Let's hope the team can get over this disappointment and concentrate on securing that UCL spot.

I think whoever wins the quarter final match may meet Man City in the semi finals. Better let other teams face such fixture congestion.

any of the ucl spot would bring in more $ than a fa cup qf spot.
now br has no more excuses in getting at least that final 4th placed.
once br get tat final 4th spot, the ball would be in the fsg court.
the owners has 2 spend some big $ so tat the squad k go ahead in more fronts.

Dunno what BR is thinking? The squad is already small and shortage of players and yet he goes and loan Ibe to Birmingham.

More bad news..... it seems like Jose Enrique's career is over. Despite undergoing surgery on his troubled knee....... he has not been recovering as expected and his knee has taken a turn for the worst. Liverpool sent him over to consult a world reknown knee specialist in the USA in a desperate attempt to seek a remedy...... instead JE was told his career is most likely over as the knee cannot be healed completely.
