Wow !! That sounds bad. We will miss his cultured leg foot to deliver the crosses and Brazalian style set pieces.

But, nevermind, we have good backups in Speedy and Riise. Here is wishing him a speedy recovery.

I think Kuyt is either very smart or he was juz damn frustrated (more likely the latter). Can see that he was huffing and puffing away but not getting any goal. He hasn't scored for quite some time liao right? To see his fellow striker Crouch scoring so many goals in two games and also the other players scoring must be quite a pain for him. If Carregher has scored earlier with his well aimed header, I think he will be lagi pek-chek. Hope it will not affect his confidence too much. We will need his high work rate.

Bro, we should be proud to be Liverpool fans whether the lads win or not, tio boh? :D If they win, we are more proud.

Rafa Benitez has confirmed that the injury sustained by Fabio Aurelio in Eindhoven could well be serious.

Liverpool's Brazilian wideman will undergo a scan on Wednesday after being stretchered off during the second leg of The Reds' 3-0 win over PSV in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final.

Initial reports suggested that Aurelio had suffered a ruptured Achilles, an injury that would likely threaten his participation for the rest of the season.

Whilst Benitez could not confirm the extent of the blow, the Spanish tactician admitted that he fears the worst over his summer signing from Valencia.

"We need to wait, it seems serious," Benitez told Sky Sports News.

"He has an Achilles tendon injury and we can see tomorrow (Wednesday) when we do a scan. It seems serious."

Wishing the best for Aurelio... Ruptured achilles tendons can sometimes be career-threatening... :( Damn, & he was only beginning to show everyone why Rafa once mentioned that he is possibly a better passer of the ball than Alonso...

One more thing, Mascherano is really turning out like a brillant piece of biz by rafa. Now that he's in, Stevie has the real freedom of roaming everywhere on the pitch... ;)

Liverpool have today confirmed that Brazilian left back Fabio Aurelio will miss the rest of the season after rupturing his achilles tendon in Eindhoven on Tuesday evening.
Aurelio fell to the ground in agony during the second half of the Reds' emphatic 3-0 victory and left the stadium on crutches after the game.

He underwent a scan on Merseyside today where it was revealed he faces up to four months on the sidelines.

Club spokesman Ian Cotton said: "A scan has confirmed a complete rupture of the achilles tendon in Fabio's right leg.

"The player will undergo surgery later today and is expected to be out for approximately three to four months."

Glad that he will be back around the start of next season which is guaranteed more promising & exciting,get well soon,Aurelio. ------}@

Its cerrtainly sad to hear the news that Fabio Aurelio will be out for few months. He is playing well now, and the last games against arsenal, his 2 crosses created goals.

Hope he will be back for the start of next season, and may Liverpool form continues till end of the season and win the ultimate Champs League again.

Certainly enjoy the last 2 victories and Mascherano performance too, its good we have such midfield options.
