Totally agree with you.
as tourist, moving around in group of 15-30 ppl in batam will be safer than moving in spore.
In spore can suay suay kena illegal assembly. :D
In batam no issue on that. :p

If 10 years ago, maybe dangerous to do that in batam, but not now.
Batam change alot in this 10 years, already very civilize.
No more Bovo times.

WHAT IS NOT CHANGING
One thing I notice: prices did not increase in the last 2-3 years about food or other things to buy...

... but the cost of ceweks is booming instead!!
I remember my first time in Batam, when I saw only ONE 1J girl in a joint, and she was a shy SYT.
Now, 1J and above is the norm for decent girls. However, it's not my "cup of tea" anymore. I have enough of girls who want to send SMS while being bonked. No, thanks.
I will spend my days here hunting discos and pubs.
At least, I have all the time to check the feeling.

Tonight I go to the best pub in town. One of my girls of the last time promised to come and meet me there.
