we did not loss because we were caught on the counter while we were all out attacking, we lost because of an unfortunate individual mistake...
even we've parked our bus like Chelsea, anybody might still just have made the same mistake...

JM did a great job in getting the job done, but I can't help wondering what is his mafia boss thinking after watching the match... he must have fainted seeing his hundreds of million being used to park buses..!!! :

i fully agreed...i refused to criticise BR because he had already proven and done very well this season..winning 11 games in a row and beating teams like Man U and Man C in those 11 games...well losing one game to Chelsea is no shame...:)

important thing is we are back in CL...:)

if JM comes to anfield and parked his bus means hes paying us the ultimate compliment....that shows that we have come a long way for him to come and defend the way he did.lampa. mikel.matic,shurle.salah...(the amt of money they spend on them) were completely overun.its not over yet...so heads up.

Yes agreed bros, heads up! It is not over yet!!!

Pundits being pundits, trying to make news as usual. Why not blame Rodgers for the 80 points and 96 goals gathered so far as well?

We had to attack, no 2 ways about it. Cause our defense is more vulnerable, and if we parked the bus like they did and invited pressure, we would be asking for more trouble. Just look at the recent 3-2 away win against Norwich. It was tense till the end, and Chelsea is a more clinical team than Norwich.

Adam Lallana Could Be Set to Snub Manchester United for Rivals Liverpool

http://www.ftbpro.com/posts/george.b...vals-liverpool

--------------------

If the report is true, Lallana will be a great signing. Sign 2 more solid defenders like Leighton Baines and Luke Shaw, grab back the impressive Suso n Borini, sell the non performing players, it could complete our jigsaw for next season. And we don't need to dig deep n spend lavishly like ManC n Chelsea!

just a curious question,

if Pool and Man City are level on goal difference at the end, what is the next criteria to decide the winner? number of goals scored?

I guess it's the number of goals scored.... if the rule remains same as old division 1...

will never forget that last minute goal by Michael Thomas which let Arsenal won the 88-89 league ahead of us.... both of us having same goal difference, but they scored more goals than us..

Yes you are right.

If two or more teams are equal on points, the winner is then determined by goal difference and then, if necessary, by the number of goals scored.

If even the number of goals scored is the same, there will be a play-off to determine the winner.

goals scored for will be the next deciding factor to break tie...
if goals scored for is level then next will be goals scored against...

Oh man, can never forgert that match, especially the final minute! Recall Barnes holding out his finger saying hang on, one goal and 1 minute only, and then what happens, bloody Michael Thomas flys around and scores the second goal!:( I literally burst out crying after that, had a bloody gooners fan sitting next to me jumping up and down screaming in delight which made it even worse:mad:

Anyways back to the present, was looking at this weekend's match schedule and must say it looks very interesting for the top of the table! There is a possibility of a merry go round musical chairs at the top with all three contenders taking 1st place from Saturday through to Monday! This would be something and amazing for the race to the finish!

Very much hope to see the Reds still at the top on Monday night!

Come on you Reds!

Hmmm, if two teams already had the same goal difference and goals scored for, wouldn't that mean they both also had the same goals scored against too:confused:
