No bro the top hotel is harmoni one$$$$$ resort n newest resort would be montigo resort like bangalow bro.do check out bbc hotel n nagoya hotel.dun get mix up with nagoya plasa hotel near nagoya hill.tis hotel just open but not sure d exact date.FYI.

Please dun ever touch that stuff..... let you in on a little secret :)

Our CNB has an office in Batam and they are quite efficient despite having a mixed staff of locals and singkies..... you can be rest assured your profile would have been passed back to the their colleagues on our mainland if you have been in anyway involved with drugs.... it is only a matter of whether they want you or not..... sometimes you are too ikan bilis ...... they are more interested in the big whales. :p

Just don't understand how batam chinese survives. When I was in batam, I walk past many chinese shops which sell things like toys, clothes. And the problem is the street is very quiet.

And at the coffeeshop the hawkers seem to be nagging us to buy food that cost 10k-20k.

Batam Chinese got poor and rich ones as well...

I know a few who beg to live, one who clean shoes by the stall, and eat the left overs by others on the table before it is cleaned up.

The chinese there are not big spenders, they work and save what they can. A simple food there does not cost much, and they try to sell wherever they can, usually in the day market. I know one who sells food in the morning, and at night, sells at A2 foodcourt.

They make a decent living and trying their best to survive. Of cos, not all chinese are good.

Some stores are distribution centres, where they sell to other islands as well. It goes down the chain. The things you see in malls are usually the best, and of cos, caters to the rich and foreigners.

That is why they see singaporeans as rich, as our money is big. Many aunties are willing to marry or even be 2nd wife of a singaporean.

One thing to note that even singaporeans are rich, please do no look down on others, as there are "hidden dragons, crouching tigers too"... I am referring to the rich.. They easily have more money in their account than you and me combined.

And also always note .. NOT ALL GALS ARE FOR SALE.

Estacy is the common pill here, and police are watching too, both batam and singapore.

In Batam, there are raids conducted at times, and you will be asked to pay a huge sum to get out if you are caught. PACIFIC DISCO IS THE MOST NOTORIOUS PLACE for that.

Also, after taking it, the next day, you will be damm stone. There are tell tale signs on a person when he takes pills. Can see from the face.

If you come back to singapore, the immigration officers are trained to spot people doing drugs. They may ask you to do a urine test. The drugs can remain in yoru body up to 30 days.

Nowdays, they can even test your hair. So some people may say that you can have some other drugs to flush out the drugs in your body, they can test it in your hair.

Come here to have fun it is ok, but singapore laws says that even you do drugs in other countries, you can be charged in singapore too.

The biggest maufacturer of pills was busted years ago in batam, with help from FBI flying to Jakarta to get sutanto to come to batam to catch. 4 taiwanese are the master mind.

Such drugs are easy to make and very bad for the body. It literally rot away your grey matter between your ears and destory your organs bit by bit. I had seen people who abuse it for years and they turn vegetables( partial) and lost their daily live activities over time.

My advice is dont CONSUME DRUGS tere. U never know whos lurking in the disko joint. If you are a Sporean, the more u should stay away from it.
