I'm actually stationed in Shanghai. But I'm quite drained out & rather pissed by work, so my plans is 2 apply some leave on some fridays / mondays, to get some more rest & relax.

Even applying leave oso I gotta argue quite hard for it, show some attitude problem / slack performance b4 I finally got some of it approved, some application is still pending.

My project schedule is damn tight & hectic in Dec. If I go, it'll mean I fly there late nite on friday, then return back to Shanghai on Sunday evening. But let's see how things go as the date gets nearer.

take things easy lah, cheong at nite, wake up late (at least noon or beyond) next day, go eat, foot massage, drink some kopi, laze around, etc etc. If got some more energy / time, can even go 2 Macau get some "reimbursements".

At least, tat's wat I did, and most times, I managed 2 get "sponsorship" from Macau!!

Besides what Gunner suggested & the list I posted earlier, other than familiar KTV, LHL & std MPs (& Macau) what other 'exhaustions' would be worthwhile to try?

Taurus suggested one before - go ZS (40mins ride).

While taking a ride to CP:

(a) I remembered seeing a seafood restaurant centre near the beach-road (where u will see the famous status out at the sea) towards CP..are they reasonable & good price?

(b) There's also a 'huge' traditional masg (in a shopping centre a few floors up) with glass panel - with many head/shoulder masg seated along the panel can see clearly from the road. Can't recall exactly as we are not familiar with Zh road

(c) I saw there's other KTVs along these beach road, knows any of these outlets?

There was one bro asked about sauna .... any good recommendation?

of course, if going on hardcore party spree, can do it anywhere outside SG / in China, juz a matter of how much $$ it costs. Shanghai is likely 2 be more expensive & not as fun.

If u are stationed in China, u'll most likely have yr fair share of party, until a certain point, party until shag! Tat's why I'm not going tat hardcore. Me party until shag in several countries outside SG, feels more like a chore than enjoy / relax!

If going ZS, I tink it'll be worth to go the no-hand restaurant thingy. I oso dunno where it is. Other stuffs, such as KTV, seafood, massage, sauna, etc etc, u can get it in ZH or almost anywhere else.

Anyway, sad to say where I just heard from my ZH friend that it seems like the restaurant in ZS is no longer serving the 'Lunch' service. However, like what bro break78 said, it is best to check and confirm first before going to the restaurant.

As for sauna, I heard 'da ming yuan' seems not and if you go there during their happy hour.which is from 5pm till 7pm, there may be a special discount price. however, I had forgotten about the price. I heard about this sauna from a ZH "lao jiao" whom now currently retreat in CP. Bro break78 sure known who I am referring to...:D . Anyway, if you are in ZH long enough, no harm trying out this place. Cheers...:D

I see. Anyway I will spend a week in PRC in Dec, time to be spread between CP and ZH. Shd be n ZH from 21st to 24th Dec. If you available, see you there.

Btw, any bros in ZH going to CP on the 8th Nov? Looking for pple to share a car from ZH to CP abt 8-9pm on 8th Nov. Pls pm me.

then do they serve dinner? If they do, can skip 1 nite of KTV; After the dinner, if everyone's ok, can ta bao the gals, go pubbing or disco 1st, then ON after tat.

To my knowledge, that side no dinner, they only do lunch, then at nite is KTV. so in that case, not worth going there at nite..

Project go-live on 1st Jan, so end Dec is fighting war at work, prepared 2 do OT, probably even on weekends! Juz talked about it wif an associate over lunch, it seems most projects' go-live on 1st Jan ends up kena delayed. Seems like a jinxed date, but Director is simply tat aggressive & stubborn. Tat's why I oso been kpkb-ing.

Can't confirm now, but if I'm able 2 take a weekend break, it'd definitely be nice 2 go ZH relaxing there, b4 coming back 2 fight war in office.
