Cristiano should be worth more than Bale.

What about between Bale and Suarez? I think notwithstanding Suarez's unstable personality, his pitch skills and commitment make him worth more than Bale.

Btw how good is this chap Marcovic? Seems to be an alternative choice to Kono.

Really hope Reds can get a better replacement for Suarez and not chaps like Bony.

Markovic is a good purchase. This young man is full of talent with high potential.

He has nice dribbling skills, great speed, and reads the game well. However, he has one issue which made his form drop at Benfica, his attitude.

Pierre.

#LFCLegend: Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard bids ‘emotional’ goodbye to Luis Suarez with Instagram note. With Luis Suarez leaving Liverpool for Barcelona, skipper Steven Gerrard loses his partner in crime; the pair had a great on-pitch connection, with Gerrard as captain and leader, and Suarez the talismanic match-winner.

Stevie G is clearly gutted with the news, as he’s only too aware how much Liverpool needed him to continue their quest for Premier League glory.

Gerrard bade an emotional farewell to Suarez with an Instagram picture and note, in which he dubbed Suarez an LFC LEGEND On an emotional day for me would just like to say what a pleasure it has been playing with an amazing talent such as Luis. I would like to thank him for his outstanding contribution on the pitch during his time @liverpoolfc and to wish him and his family all the best on his new adventure in Spain. #lfclegend

Liverpool has seal deal for Lazar Markovic in a £19.8 million transfer. The 20 year old is Brendan Rodgers' 4th signing.

Ian Ayre is in Spain to attempt to close a deal for Alberto Moreno. An increased bid of £18 million has been tabled.

Karim Benzema has revealed he has no plans to move to Anfield.

Colombian sensation James Rodriguez wants to represent Real Madrid and indicated a move to the Premier League in not in the cards.

The Reds bid for Wilfried Bony has entered troubled waters as The Swans want more than £19 million.

Brendan Rodgers is considering to raid Southampton once again, this time for Jay Rodriguez should Liverpool fail to agree a deal for Bony.

.

How good is this Albert Moreno? £18m seems to be like £10m two seasons ago!

Any news on the Dejan Lovren front?

Any news on the players leaving Anfield?

How good a player is or how well he performs is subjective.

Players can have an impressive form in other leagues and be the total opposite in BPL. Vice Versa.

Liverpool is probably facing one of the hardest transfer window, in terms of signing and selling players. However, Aspas could move to Sevilla on a season long loan deal with an option to make it permanent. Lovren could arrive in Anfield, only if Rodgers stamp up the money required.

The biggest worry for Liverpool is to replace Luis Suarez. There are not many players in the market able to fill the void and even if there was, chances are low these players would want to move to Liverpool. So much so that Lambert might be given our famous number 7 jersey.

Our fourth signing. :D

"I went to Partizan and won the title, I went to Benfica and won the title. Now I have joined Liverpool and want to win the title, 100 per cent." - Lazar Markovic

Brendan Rodgers has named a 23-man squad for the friendly against our vice captain's former club.

Jones, Agger, Coutinho, Lucas, Allen, Ilori, Borini, Suso, Ibe, Kelly, Coady, Skrtel, Flanagan, Adorjan, Smith, Phillips, Rossiter, Wisdom, Jones, Ward, Teixeira, Peterson, Stewart.

None of the new signings (except for young left back Kevin Stewart) will be involved and Brendan Rodgers has only named 1 recognised forward in the squad, which is Fabio Borini.

The match will kick off at midnight Singapore time tonight.
