As for the champions league don't have high hopes for the team. Why I say so ? 1) Liverpool have a manager who has NO experience in the CL. 2) Only a few senior players have tasted CL before. 3) Financially it is still not a loss as revenue earned from tv coverage and other advertisements would more than sufficient cover their operating costs. |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Personally my thought is we have signed too many new players.
I wonder how are they going to gel when the season starts in 2mths time. Too many spots to fight for, of course it is a good move, big teams usually have big squads, but it seems that these players are pretty new to the BPL except a few. Hope I'm wrong tough |

http://www.espnfc.com/barclays-premi...ont-do-a-spurs most players signed are not new to BPL "Adam Lallana and Rickie Lambert have experienced English football at almost every level, having come up through the leagues with Southampton. In addition, probable new recruits Loic Remy and Dejan Lovren have also shown they can cope with the rigours of English football" |

Liverpool lost 1-0 to Roma by a late Agger own goal.
Consolation, it was not a strong starting 11. Good to hear Coutinho n Can impressed. The Reds are expected to field a strong 1st 11 against Olympiacos on Sunday, featuring the likes of Lallana n Markovic. Liverpool: Jones, Kelly, Skrtel, Coates (Agger 60), Enrique (Robinson 46), Lucas, Allen (Henderson 77), Coutinho (Phillips 85), Borini (Can 12), Lambert (Peterson 60), Ibe (Suso 77). Subs not used: Ward, Coady. Roma starting XI: Skorupski, Somma, Benatia, Castan, Cole, Florenzi, Keita, Nainggolan, Iturbe, Totti, Ljajic. http://www.thisisanfield.com/2014/07...-match-report/ |

Loic Remy's Move to Liverpool Falls Through After Failed Medical
http://www.ftbpro.com/posts/jamie.sp...failed-medical ------------ Strange .... Usually medicals are mere formalities ... Which fit professionals should easily pass .... Unless it's the dirty four letter word ... Thought 8m was quite a good steal for a French international with BPL experience ... Now with Borini injured, and the new season starting in 3 weeks, hope Pool can get the backup soon. |
