think he meant Nagoya and HabourFront. One in SG (and this is one of the worst place to change I suppose) and the other is in the town of Batam (where like what ML mentioned, Batamese rate SGD highly).

No leh....he specifically said "in Batam, i found that the rate at the terminal normally more expensive by rp100-200 for every S$1 than you can get from changers at Nagoya..... anyway...I highlight this just so our fellow batamgers know exactly what to expect between Batam terminal and Nagoya money changers so they won't get scolding by asking for 100ph more to the SGD!

knn, you mean you changed SGD for IDR at both the Batam Ctr Terminal Money changer AND the Nagoya changer?

If not, how you know the Batam Ctr Terminal changer is more expensive by Rp100-200?

Please clarify.

For sure the exchange rates in Nagoya is better than the Batam Ctr Terminal. Don't later samsters flock to changers in Nagoya and request for Rp100 more then all tio kan .... hahahaha - Thanks to Mr Swing Swing :D 害人精

dun anyhow say me hor......there was once we went in a group of 5......one fella changed his monies at BTC and the rest of us went out to Naoya and change.....maybe 4 of us change more (S$400 each) total S$1,600, that's why they gave us better rate.....

Batam Center termial rates are killers, dont go for them. They shout and scream as you pass by, on your way out.

A word of advise, have some Rupiah with you at all times, it will come in handy. You can travel from Batam Center to other places first. Rates at Lucky Plaza, Nagoya is pretty good. There are many money changers there and competition is high. So rates are good.

Changing in larger amounts will tend to have better rates.

Indonesia is going to sign SEZ( special econ zone) with LHL. This is going to bring about more jobs, and naturally more working gals from other parts of Indonesia.

Of course, that means more selection in the future. :D

Beside batam center,the mega mall, still got other places to shop or not...?

Tat time i go to the mega mall, do a body, foot massage, cut & wash hair for only singapore $16... damn worth it... alot of shop selling shirt but i like the best is the 61shop...

After tat go eat seafood, my stupid friend go n ask the driver where is the nicest seafood then the driver bring us to golden prawn. haizz,, got rip by the driver,said we have to book his taxi.. 3 hours is $35... walau.. damn it.. The seafood also like fuck, so expensive, eat also not full, the rice so hard.. crab so small, quite nice is the prawn, should said is the prawn sauce tat is nice...!!!

Going batam tis weekend,, anyone can share with me where can shop and where to eat seafood at kelong.. If possible where to find girls..? haha..:D
