Petr Cech would be welcomed addition to LFC.

These sort of deals, actual price is hard to ascertain. Good example would be the price Barca paid for Neymar which caused a huge controversy, so much so that the then Barca president had to resign. Personally think the Suarez deal was actually closer to £75m, possibly could have even been more?

Guess bros must have heard by now the strong rumours of Super Mario signing for Pool. Do u guys have faith n confidence he'll do well for Pool? Will he shed his blemished disciplinary record n turn over a new leaf?

These are BIG question marks looming ..........:confused::confused:

I wonder why Liverpool is taking so long to sign a striker and a backup goalkeeper?

Not sure how true is that

Anyway if BR can do what he do the LS maybe he will be a steal consider the inflation of the transfer fees in today's market

Sky Sports Italia reported that Liverpool and AC Milan have agreed a fee of €20 million for the transfer of Mario Balotelli, with the player quoted saying that "It is his last day in Milan" and he was also seen saying goodbye to his team mates shortly after a training session.

Any thoughts on this? :)

If the day should arrive that Mario Balotelli puts on a Liverpool jersey, I wish he changes his attitude and stops being lazy as this guy is huge on talent.

Disciplinary records aside, for a 24 yo who has won many honours n scoring goals consistently, EUR16m seems a 'bargain buy'. You can't say he's a marquee like Suarez or Falcao ... U can't say he belongs to the league of say, Bony or Remy ... Maybe somewhere in between ... Someone who could weave magic, pull a rabbit out of the hat n win crucial games for his team.

Mario's CV:

'Since returning to Italy, he has scored 30 goals in 54 games, the same amount he scored for City in 80 games.

And it is easy to forget that he has already won four titles in two countries, a Champions League and the FA Cup and Coppa Italia by the age of 24.'

How is Balotelli playing style? Willhe suit BR playing tactic?
I see his build and size, i always equate him to AC leh... Target man.

i think Super Mario is good player...think situation whereby we need a goal is where we can call upon his experience...this involves turning game around...:)

hope he can contribute...:)

think with Super Mario in the squad...Pool is almost a force to be reckon with...watch out rivals...now a top 4 finish is the minimum with a pc of silverware...:)

As a liverpool fan myself, of course i hope he comes out good for us.
We already had a selfish DS, i hope he dont become
another young selfish striker.

Looking objectively, if he were to sign for arse, manure or other top bpl club, the positive comments about him here will be zero.
We are just blinded supporting this signing :)

BR prefers a striker who suits our passing style, one who will run back to help out in defence.

Seen Mario play for AC, MC n Italy, he's the kind of player (u can say lazy) who always wait for the ball deep upfront n seldom run back to help out in defence.

I feel he's more of a selfish than team player in general but when he scores goals they can be quite spectacular.

Oh boy oh boy, woke up to the news of BR doing a complete U turn and going for Balotelli! From one mad genius to another perhaps? Very risky move, but I guess the stakes are so high with regards the competition for a top 4 CL spot this season that the Reds have decided to hold their breath and roll the dice. It probably is going to be a rollercoaster ride of fun and disaster this season, so hold on to your hats. Hopefully much more fun, excitement, genius and goals!

Also just read that Liverpool still keen on bringing Eto'o to Anfield. Eto'o and Super Mario were teammates at Inter, so hopefully some complementary factor kicking in as well.

Must say, am personally excited with the above prospects, notwithstanding the obvious negatives.

But most strikers are selfish. The self confident arrogance that they and only they can score. Without Suarez scolding Sturridge for not passing now, DS will become more selfish?
