Liverpool is playing a much better game than their last 2 games. Tim Howard is Everton's hero at the moment. Liverpool's defense also holding well. Half time score 0 - 0 . Referee's decision was poor. He could have awarded a penalty to either team.

We could have won the game if not for Jagielka's hopefully volley.

I thought we defended well, the last match we actually played well in was against Tottenham back in August. Coincidentally, that was our last clean sheet too..

I was taken aback when I observed Liverpool fans heading for the exit when Everton rocketed in the goal.

This has not happened in years.

I guess the morale must be rock bottom at Anfield.

Good luck for the Champions League match. The team is going to need it.

Pierre.

The attacking flow of the pool from last season is completely absent in this season! Kns....home game also can't win!

Actually feeling not that bad notwithstanding the injury time equaliser by Jagielka because it was a beauty, plus Stones played very well. Anyways quite afew positives to take from the match.

Moreno, Maquillo, Lallana and Henderson were good, Gerrard scored and his form was much better than in the last few previous games. Balotelli tried his best, pity he didn't score but not from lack of trying though, just think he is not suited as a lone striker. Mignolet and the defence looked much tighter than they have done in the last few previous games.

Biggest downside seems to be Markovic. His form was poor coming into this match and continued to be poor. I just don't understand what has happened to the pace that he is known to possesses? Perhaps the £20m price tag is weighing down on him?

Bottom line, Reds unfortunately not title challenger material this season, but I think still stand a chance for a top 4 epl place, but its going to be a really tough battle.

I agree our defence performed creditably tonight. Everton did not threaten much throughout the game. The rocket by Jagielka was a pure speculative shot which usually 9/10 times would hv missed. The defence or even the best GK would not be able to do anything to stop it. It's jus one of those suay nights which we are not destined to get the 3 pts.

It is worrying to see Mario still unable to get his 1st league goal after 7 games. Had he scored with the simple tap-in when we were 1-0 up we would have won the game without doubt.

It was definitely a much improved performance by the entire team except for GK. Don't really know what Liverpool is doing in the second half though . They should have gone for another goal instead of sitting back to defend the 1 nil lead.SG really silenced his critics. He should be an AM and NOT a DM . RS really need a break. He looks a bit tired. The referee kelong.

It was a fluke shot.... nevertheless this season seems like Lady Luck has abandoned Liverpool. It's a tough journey ahead for BR and his team.

Brendan Rodgers will wait to listen to Mamadou Sakho and decide if the French defender will be handed an internal disciplinary action. The centre-back left Anfield ahead of the Merseyside derby as he did not make the squad. This is against Liverpool's protocol.

Andre-Pierre Gignac has been identified as a potential January target as he will be out of contract in the Summer.

Bredan Rodgers is keeping close taps on Marek Hamsik as Napoli wishes to make a change to the present squad.
