From now on when Kenny is the manager, Spurs can forget about the 4th place championship place...Remember liverpool was almost in relegation zone and Spurs was in top 6... since then 30 points in 15 games....

Bro,

Liverpool is a very good team and I acknowledge that.

With the late introduction of Kenny Daglish, whom I deemed as a Legend, Liverpool started to play well. Moreover, Torres was sold at a price which only a couple of clubs can afford and Chelski did it. If not for that price, Suarez & Carroll wouldn't come in that fast becoz of the financial status at that time. Suarez really revitalised Liverpool with his productivity.

So it is a combination of factors that managed to get Liverpool where it is this season, a great achievement, in my opinion.

I am giving credit to Liverpool for that, I hope you can give credit to Spurs too. Spurs played very well in the Champions League all the way until Q-Finals.

And I also can see your prediction way before Hodgson leave.

Thank you.

Hi

Liverpool fan here visiting your thread. Nice to see honest fans here. Appreciate the generous comments on liverpool's rise since KD took over. I was hoping you guys would beat manc last nite to keep last UCL place alive. Too bad it didn't happen.

Anyway, lets hope for a good match this weekend.

Cheers!

Bro too hot,

Thank you. I certainly look forward to a great match this weekend. To be honest, my heart says Spurs to win, but my mind tells me Liverpool likely to win at the Kop. That's why I said it may be over for UEL as well.

My mind believed that Spurs might end up with nothing this season as there was too much hype from the UCL and too much concentration on it that we sacrifice EPL (see my earlier posts).

Hey man, it is the 1st taste of UCL. Who is to blame if we got carried away? The players are all less than 30 years old, it'll b too much to ask them to not get carried away. Not everyone in Nicole Seah, you know.

I think we will be challenging for top places in EPL again next season. It will only be good for the fans that we do not have any run-away teams and the league is tight.:D

Yes, staying at the top of the table for the whole season is not easy. Chelski, manc, Arse & urselves have all had spells of poor results. Somehow only Man U was consistent enough most of the de season hence they are going to win the title this year and also in UCL Final. Hate to admit it but i guess got to give it to them.

As for me, a typical long-suffering liverpool fan, i only have hope but zero expectations. My heart has been broken too many times.

Yes, we will be challenging at the top next season, hopefully there will be a "big six".

Cheers.

Bro,

At least Liverpool has 18 titles, hence, I think it is an awesome achievement by itself. Even if Man U were to win the EPL for another couple of times, Liverpool can catch up & overtake easily whereas for the rest it is a mountain to climb, just like Man U 20 years ago.

The present trend is to spot young overseas' talent. Sandro, in my opinion, is one great find by Spurs.

This should be the plot and we should stick to it. Look at where Man U is and where Liverpool was when their youth players were the ones winning titles, doubles and triples for them.

Sad to say, Liverpool lost the plot after KD left and it is left to Man U to be the only one to continue. Look at how Fergie managed to stick with Giggs and Scholes till they are winning the 19th League title and these 2 players come from the youth system. A prove of the right way to carry on. However, it seems like Man U has also lost part of the plot already becoz there is not enough young talent to replenish the old players, which is also why they still need to use Scholes and Giggs.

The other way to do it is the Chelski and Man City way, big money owners. However, you have to pray hard that the big money owners do not get burnt in any financial crisis.

As for Spurs, I think we need to take things 1 season at a time while the academy and scouts continue to help spot young talent. The manager will bring them in and put them through training with player in the likes of VDV, Bale, Modric, Dawson, King, Huddlestone, Sandro, Defoe and etc, and groom them into very good players if not great players. Unless Bro Castrol willing to part with his billions of $$$ to fund Spurs...:D

For me big money owners can only be a short term solution with instant success. However, ensuring a long continuous line/stream of talented youth supply with a blend of experience players will be the best outcome for teams whom wanted success in the long run.

bro i am designing to take over bp, before they can start funding qpr next season. :D

i think you and me will like the way spurs operate, it is rare spurs spend more than 10m to sign a single player and that helps keep spurs in good financial books. although spurs' finances dont affect me in any way, i am always glad to see them report good profits given how much i have loved the club.

kaka's mom reported that kaka and family should be living in london starting next season, i wonder who in london has been calling him. :D

Imagine if Harry had changed the keeper Gomez long time, results for many games would have been different. If they had played the way they play L'pool against Man City things would have been different.

Bro,

Look what Cudicini and Ledley King do to keep the clean sheet in this match. Liverpool was dangerous up till the last third of the pitch. KD has done a great job there.

King, Dawson and Cudicini had so much calmness in them that it never look like conceding any goals. Dawson was determined not to concede, King was as usual a very good covering centre-half, and Cudicini was catching almost all high balls.

In fact all players showed determination. I think this should be the way we should approach almost every game and make all opportunities count as well as making clean and sharp clearance.

Last game is against Birmingham, whom is struggling to stay in the EPL, which is not good news to us as we are not sure which Spurs will turn up, at WHL. Liverpool will face Aston Villa at Villa Park.

Hopefully, the good, sharp and unwasteful Spurs turn up.

well bro, if he has always been there, spurs could have cemented top 4 placing earlier than arsenal. too little too ledley late.

its been a funny season, spurs strikers have been awfully off form while the midfielders and wingers are the players who brought back the bread. this is very rare for a spurs season. i am not sure if crouchy has been organizing beer parties for defoe and pavy on friday nights.

all the luck in the world wont get birmingham any point in white hart lane becos spurs need europe badly.

Bro,

U r rite, man. If Ledley has always been there, we may even be in 3rd place like Man City. I think our win at Liverpool was our 1st since 1993. I don't think it will be too late, if King can play more often next season.

Sad to see West Ham relegated, but that may spell some good news for Spurs as there may be some players available.

There are plentiful of players that can come from West Ham:
Goalkeeper
- Marek Strech, 21 y/o;

Defenders
- James Tomkins, 22 y/o;
- Wayne Bridge, 30 y/o;

Midfielders
- Mark Noble, 24 y/o;
- Thomas Hitzlsperger, 29 y/o;

Strikers
- Demba Ba, 25 y/o.

These players are quite good catch.

yes bro, i am very sad for west ham. when i was a young boy, i used to confuse the hammers with the villans becos of their similar jerseys except if gary shaw was playing for villa that day, his blonde hair and silky skills were unmissable.

i believe nobody will want grant to be manager now.

spurs will take parker, bridge and hitzls "the hammer" perger! :D
